How fast are/were you?

100 yds or less please?

I just self timed some 40s (yes, I know, self timing isn't very accurate) and I was a lot slower than I expected :(

Of course I used to run with a friend of mine who I thought was pretty fast, but he was usually only one or 2 strides faster than me, so he's slower than I thought too.

last year during wrestling i did 40- 3.54 sec 60- 4.57 100-9.00

I hope those are feet since if they were yards or meters you are the fastest person alive. maybe you want to rethink those numbers

Last time I was timed was August 2000. 40 yard dash was 4.79 at 265lbs.

Meathead, I am not gonna tell anyone they are full of shit, but there comes a time when things get too ridiculous for me to refrain from commenting. Unless you were timed on the moon, those numbers are either bullshit or they are a mistake. I never jump on peole for claiming something I could never do, BUT a 3.54 40 yard dash makes you EASILY the fastest human whoever lived

If that is yards, you're faster than any Olympian by like 8 tenths, which is huge. So I'm guessing its feet or self timed and really bad off.

So far we've got a 4.8, a 4.45, a 4.79, and a 4.6. Damn I'm a turtle :bawling: Of course, maybe its because I'm self timing, clicking the button on the watch as I hit the finish, which means my reaction time is probably slowing it down some. If I hold the watch in my hand and double click it, the fastest time I can get is .156 and that doesn't even require reaction time.

Tarheel- so what did you get?

My fastest was 4.8. That was probably about going on years ago now at about 225-230...

Now I am 255-260. Timed myself towards the beginning of this year after not doing any running pretty much for a few years and got like a 5.25. Haven't run like that since then, maybe will start up again after the heat dies down a little (not been under 100 in a couple months) I am sure I could get it down to at least sub 5's.
