Please Scroll Down to See Forums Below I have these 3 skin tags that pop up from time to time on my neck. I went to the dermatalogist, he removed them, nut they came back. So since then I've been removing them myself using toenail clippers. I heat them up first to avoid any bacteria. Does anyone have a method for this.

I had two removed about three years ago and they haven't come back.
I read somewhere that you shouldn't clip them with clippers. The article said to tie a piece of string around them and after a period ot time (can't remember how long) they will fall off.
Do they bleed much after you clipped them off?

I just pinch them between my fingernails & pinch them off. They bleed a little bit -- nothing a band aid won't take care of...

thats just a pain in the ass and it doesnt work sometimes...i had 2 under my arm for a couple years that were barely noticeable but they were starting to annoy me ..so here is a full proof method.....swab with alcohol, put ice on it for 30 seconds , take a sharp small pair of scissors and just snip them off, you will not feel anything but they will bleed quite a bit, i did this last year and they have not ever come back at all.

1. I have no idea how you get them. But trust me mine are not as nasty as the one in the picture above.
2. I cut them off myself because I went to the derm. and he took them off charged me $85 and said they could return back. And they did just that. So fuck paying him that money if I can do it myself. But I wish they would stop coming back. I have to cut them every 4 or 5 months. I'm going to try the string idea, I heard that works.
