how do you know?

hey guys. i'm hanging out, working out hard, eating lots (well, more than i used to). still skinny though...

how do you know when it's time to start AS? i've noticed lots of guys who post pics and so forth getting flamed for starting AS too soon.

how do you know when it's time? and how can you tell if you're jumpng the gun just because you're frustrated?

any advice?

if you've been lifting for a while (a while is not 1 month), got your diet, training, and sleeping straight then your prob ready. Don't listen to what some of these guys say, some of them think you should start doing AS when your like 200lbs. I don't wanna be bigger then 200lbs even after my cycle. So if you've done your research (a LOT of it) and all the above things are straight u should be good to go.
 
I think its when you hit your "plateau"... which means after many years of hard training... thats why I believe before 20 its too soon since your test level stills high enough.....

bu the way we need more stats in order to give an answer...
 
here are the stats:

28 years old. 6'0". 170lbs. been training hard for about the last 18months. got the diet in shape in the last 6 months or so. getting harder from training and stronger, but not bigger. working heavy, low reps, basic compound movements.

don't want to be over about 200 lbs when all is said and done, but seem to be stuck at this weight (the same weight i was when i started.)
