#1 - you emphasize body parts by how you position your body during the move. For example: Good-mornings are great for the low back and hams, but bent-leg goodmornings emphasize the hams, while straight-leg good mornings emphasize the low back.

A muscle contracts from insertion to insertion, and all of it contracts at once. You can, by doing incline, emphasis the clavicular or sternal head of the pectoralis, but you cannot emphasis different parts of one head. Capiche?

Actually I was wanting to know about this, b/c a guy told me to do chest-cable crosses, to 'emphasize' the lower pecs. I didn't ask him to elaborate, b/c he seemed like a know-it-all :rolleye
I always thought cable crosses, were shit compared to flies.
