how do you get the smoothest shave? I'm talking no follicles showing

Yep, use a mach 3 razor and do change the blades.
Most guys try to use the blades too long.
I know I use to.

I used to wish that too. Then the necessity to shave intervals became shorter, and shorter, and now its a pain in the ass. Although the 5 o'clock shadow is neat.

I use a mach 3, and go against the grain. It just isn't smooth otherwise. On the mach 3 change the blades when the blue strip is gone.

I shave against the grain at least twice a day with a Mach3 and I have no iritation problems.. not in the shower.. no moisterizers or anything. Also I pluck my unibrow.. not much pain if you pull really quickly.
