How do you eat your egg whites?

Not AAS related, but the food forum is dead. So I'll ask here anyways.

Those of you that eat 8-10 egg whites a day. How do you eat them? Just straight out of a glass, or do you cook them or what?
 
I dont eat 8 to 10 eggs a day every single day, But when I do eat eggs, I will just cook them in a pan, 7-10 of them, Seperate the yolk with the shell and just scramble all the egg whites, On that note I need another beer, Superbowl baby yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
 
Ok dude, this is more appropriate for the training and nutrition forum, but since the question is here lemme tell you.....

Boil eggs, out of 12 boiled eggs throw all yolks but 2, then mash them in and throw in come spices, some onion, paprika, mayo, and vinegar to make some egg white (at least mostly white) salad, spread it on some bread, open up a can of tuna, throw it on top and enjoy your protein meal.

Either that or you could fry some egg whites with some turkey or beef sausage. Anything to get a good protein meal, and last but not least after you fry the eggs and your choice of sausage throw some cottage cheese on top for even more protein.

That and a beverage of your choice will do you some good, at least it has done some to me.

i bet 2 cans of protein on them anyway, and i dont want to lose them as im running low on protein supply..........


To heck with it, if i lose them at least eggs are cheap, will take my own advice and knock some recipes out.
 
I pull the yolks out with my fingers then add a little water to the rest and mix them up and have scrambled eggs. I sometimes add a little lemon pepper mrs. dash or even the steak seasoning mrs.dash. My usual first meal on a diet is 6 eggs (1 whole and 5 whites) and a half cup of oatmeal with a little splenda and cinnamon.
 
hard-boiled - i chew them one at a time
 
I blend up 10 whites and 2 whole eggs in a blender along with 1C oats, couple packets of splenda, and cinnamin. Once its blended I pour it in a pan and make pancakes out of it. Put a little sugar free syrup or sugar free jelly and there you have it, delicious.
 
8 egg whites and 2 whole eggs every morning.

Crack them open and put them in a bowl and stir. Microwave for 1 minute - then stir. Microwave for 2 minutes = finished. No greasy pan to clean up, no butter or spray needed and done in 3 minutes.

Make sure to stir it after one minute - this helps it from sticking to the microwave bowl and also eggs will still explode even if they are not in the shell - if you stir after 1 minute they don't explode. This is much quicker than boiling and frying and more healthy than frying (if you use butter or spray).

Sometimes I throw them in a whole wheat burito shell - throw in some cheese and bacon bits if your diet permits.
 
fried with pam and 2 yolks. sunny side up. yummy!

at least 2 omelets a day..6-10 whites..leftover steak,veges..whatever..the key is, just like a regular omelet..whip the whites and cook on LOW heat..add fat free cheese, and for me-plenty of La. hot sauce. hell, i make a egg white sandwich..spray a bowl with pam,6 whites-3 mins-check the whites,then check every 30 secs until done-add cheese and hot sauce-wheat bread..go to go brother...the latter was in a microwave BTW..

over easy with 8 egg whites and 1 whole egg, looks funny with 1 whole egg lol,

hard boiled

and drink'um down, has absolutely no taste

I started purchasing 8.5lb buckets of Lana's egg whites (www.lanaseggwhites.com). Lana is totally cool by the way. Very personable...

1. Spray frying pan with PAM
2. Sautee enough sweet onions to cover pan
3. Add about 1/3 cup of sliced mushrooms
4. Add 8oz. of Lana's egg whites
5. Fry it up and serve...
 
I read a study where they gave egg whites only to rats in one group, and whole eggs to the other group, and the egg white only rats were way unhealthy compared to the whole egg group. Also, saturated fat increases testosterone and protein synthesis. The article also documented a 94 year old farmer who ate 10 whole eggs a day, and he was very healthy for his age (cholesterol was fine too). High cholesterol levels aren't necessarily due to cholesterol intake. If your body doesn't have enough cholesterol, it makes it's own. Other health and nutritional factors contribute to how your body uptakes and utilizes cholesterol besides cholesterol intake itself. Granted, if you're on AAS, your body may be more inclined to sustain high levels of cholesterol (which is bad), but if you eat healthy, eating lots of whole eggs shouldn't be a problem; in fact, it may even be beneficial in some ways. I bagged the egg whites, and now I just eat 4-6 whole eggs a day at breakfast. It tastes better, and I feel better. Just a thought fellas.

Yeah I don't buy in completely to the whole "Whole eggs are bad" thing. I prefer to just eat whole eggs also, however I will sometimes make scrambled eggs out of 3 whole eggs and 2 egg whites, mostly because I don't need anymore yolk for the way I make them :-).
 
Egg beaters, 8 a day, 2 minutes in the micro, then put in some frank's red hot and some cayenne red pepper, then 2 more minuts in the micro. Done.
 
I'm down with whole eggs too. When bulking, 10 whole eggs. When maintaining, 6 whole, 2 whites. When dieting, 4 whole, 4 whites. Eggs are gooooooood.

There is no need to seperate the eggs ... this is natures perfect food , tamper with it and lose out on there BV ( there is little evidence the colesterol in eggs causes a buildup of colesterol in the body )

Those who eat them raw should do more research as they are doing as much harm as good .... i'll give you a hint, it has to do with the "advin" in the eggs which stops the absorption of biotin ....

Salmonella would concern me the most , all you have to do is get it once and you'll be a believer for life !!!
 
i will only eat if im short of prtotein or know i will only be able to a liquid meal in and dont want whey!

but when i do i will bung 8-15 whites in a blender add 1 pint fo milk (skimmed) a bannana or 2. Blend and putinto a bottle and frink when needed.

proper makes me fart tho!!

I also heard that by not eating the yolk you're comprimising the amino acid balance-thus decreasing the bioavailibility of the eggs.

Also, I believe free range eggs would have a higher biological value of protein than regular eggs. They do taste better-that's for sure. It's kinda like drinking Keystone Light as Opposed to Drinking Samuel Adams. I'd go broke eating free range eggs exclusively tho-they cost 2-3x as much as reg eggs.

I eat 3 hard boiled eggs with salad at least 2x a day. I also eat 10 eggs scrambled with a small amount of pepper, ketchup, and enough Tabasco to make me shit firecrackers.

I like making egg salad too-but I try to avoid eating bread or I'd make it more often.

The frank's only has 150mg and the pepper of course is 0 sodium :)
 
Eggs in the microwave... never tried it. Does it taste the same? I usually do a cup of egg whites and a couple whole eggs and scramble them. It a pain in the ass at 6 30 am. If they taste just as good in the microwave that'll save me time in the AM. I'll give it a try and see if it tastes alright. K to ya

I've done this plenty of times.. To me its just as good as regular pancakes!! :p
 
shit! 3 egg white is ALOT of egg to consume. how tha hell do you guys shovel down 7+?

I practically inhale all my food. I can easily take down a subway footlong in 5 minutes or less.
 
Hey guys whats the best way to boil them(time wise)? I dont think I have a set time, and sometime I overdo it. LMK

I buy it at a local Max Muscle, so I don't have to worry about it. The bucket is not very big...fits perfectly on my fridge's top shelf :) ...
 
Scrambled in non-stick pan with some pam. 8whites 1yoke. Seasonings differ from the fallowing: tarragon, paprika, salt substitute, splenda, milled pepper, fresh superfine salsa, leftover veggies. Try having some fat free or 2% cottage cheese as a side, with two plane slices of stone ground wheat toast a big 16oz tumbler of iced green tea, one fruit item and thats my breakfast 6+ days a week just before the gym.

Nuked eggs are a last resort for me-yuck! plus it usually fucks up whatever you cook them in so bad clean up makes nuking them more trouble than it's worth. In a no stick pan w/ pan clean up w/ a paper towel is usually good enough.
