how do you eat brown rice?

How do you guys eat it?! Also is it ok to cook it all at once and just reheat it during the week? Is this also ok with oatmeal? Why is it ok to add splenda to oatmeal? Wow I have a ton of questions. Also if anybody knows a brand of those low carb tortilla or whatever tortillas are good. If you can answer these and have the time thanks alot for any help, still pretty new.

La Tortilla Factory Low Carb Tortillas

Splenda fine when dieting. Not sure if it affects ketosis, so if you are doing CKD/TKD you might want to check that.

Brown Rice can be cooked all at once, and eaten throughout the week. It might get too dry though. Up to you.

Veggies, Hot Sauce, Salsa, those all are good ideas.

I'm not a huge fan of brown rice but if need be I like with chinese mustard or I make homemade applesauce and pour some on fresh hot rice.

Also - I don't bother making it - I just get from the chinese place - it's so cheap and easy that way.

i heard instant brown rice is not good for cutting, is this true

Instant rice...high GI. Not good for cutting.

BTW...what's up with your red karma? You must be a dick! LOL! I'll hit ya with some greenery.

Gimmie some! ;) By the way, I got this huge bag of long grain brown rice from Costco for $7.99, has 252 servings. It doesn't say brown or white on it. I couldn't find any brown labeled sacks there. It weighs 25 lbs. though.
If it's white rice, even though it's long grain, is it bad? I mean, either way I don't care, it's dirt cheap. Works out to $.03 a serving. Works for me, since I'm not in it to be a bodybuilder or a professional in the field or anything. Just an average guy lifting to be healthy. And big. And strong.

I'd bet, for the price, that it's highly processed, white rice...............gar-bage

Any brand or type of brown rice I should look for specifically?

The big bag of rice has ingredients listed, which only says Enriched Long Grain Rice. I doubt it's that bad. Better than some other crap people eat.

Actually, enriched is truly the worst way to go........not being a dick, just helping you out...........will it kill u? Hell no, would I buy it? Hell no..........Go with Uncle Ben or anything that says Long grain brown rice ONLY or organic............just my .02...

Yeah they sold a huge bag of Uncle Ben's, but it wasn't brown. It was long grain though. I know you're not being a dick bro, it's all good. I appreciate the help.

Don't sweat over it bro..........trust me............we spend too much itme piddling over the little things...........you'll be fine, esp. at 17..........eat up young chap......
