I been boiling it for ever and its still really hard.

glennds said:after reading this thread i decided to buy some brown rice and try it again. cooked it tonight and was quite good, but took OVER an hour to cook. not quite sure why brown rice takes so much longer than white rice.

I've found cooking it on the stove & in the 'wave gives mixed results. I am very pleased with the results from my rice steamer & now use that esclusively for my rice...
