How do you clean your Forman Grill?

I love my Foreman, I just DESPISE cleaning the freakin thing. When Im through using, i put a wet paper towel in there and close it, loosens everything up but its still a pain to clean up.

How do yall clean your Foremans?

It's a PITA to clean. You have to clean it when it's hot, but even then it slowly cakes up with crap. I'm about to toss mine and buy another because I just can't get all the crap off it it and the food is sticking like crazy.

Here is the secret to gettin your Foreman grill clean. right after you take the last piece of meat off of it. Close it bring it over to the sink. If you can put it on the counter so that its hangs over the sink a little(you'll see why later). turn on your cold water and keep it running. put a little soap on a sponge or cloth and place it under the running water. squeeze out the water and soap over your grill until it stops smoking. get a dry paper towel or cloth and wipe off whatever is left on your grill.

kinda long and all over the place, but it works for me. The inside of my grill still looks like it did when i first opened it.

i've never had a problem if i clean it when hot... basically I first wipe the excess shizzle off with a paper towel; then I hit it up with a wet sponge (non abrasive side), and once its cooled down some soap gets off the oil residue and voila.

After it is cool off, I just a spray bottle to spray soap water onto the grill surface and then clean it w/ paper towel. Repeat this process a few times untill you don't see any residual on the surface. Then either wet a paper towel w/ clean water or use a different spray bottle w/ clean water and clean up the soap on the surface. Done.

It usually uses 5-10 pieces of paper towel to get the job done.

Spray some Pam on before grilling or dampen a paper towel with olive oil and wipe down your grill. This makes cleaning it much easier.

I just use the plastic looking fork that comes w/ it, but again my advice is no good because my grill is generally dirty lol

LMAO at this post! I use the plastic fork thing and a couple napkins. Does anyone have the model with the bun warmer on top? What a crock!
