How do you all warm up?

I hurt my back a bit yesterday doing deadlifts. It feels minor but has gotten me thinking about warmups which I've always done very little of except for the sets I do ramping up to my working sets.

What do you all do for warmups if anything and do you think you do enough or so much that it just blends into your workout?

Do you do extra warmups when you hit the intensity phase of a training schedule?

for things like dead lifts and squats just do a set or maybe 2 building up to the weight i am going to be doing, so a few warm up sets really.

only do it for things involving lower back mainly

when doing lke shoulders, and arms i do some single arm extensions, curls, standing presses with low weight to get the blood flowing... if im doing legs i do some lightweight squats or lunges

I do a ton of warmups
Heres an example from my deadlifts last week
135lbs x 10 reps
225lbs x 8 reps
315lbs x 5 reps
405lbs x 3 reps
495lbs x 10 reps (working set)

I hear you can get tendinitis from lifting if you dont stretch. My cousin got tendinitis in his elbows. What are some good stretches or warm-ups to avoid this?

Many recommend that stretching is for after your workout rather than as part of pre-workout. If you stretch a lot as part of warmups then you could inhibit your stretch reflex in some lifts.

I'll pyramid the weight up slowly when doing compound lifts like squats, deads, or standing presses but for everything else I pretty much go for the heavy weight right off the bat.
