how do you all chill out?

i have realised my higher than normal bp is related to stress that i put on myself and my type a personality. took my bp about ten times this morning and initially it was about 140/90 after being all pent up but when i sat back and took deep breaths and chilled it wnet down to about 130/82. i have only come off prop and tren acetate 8 days ago so i guess thats a factor for anohter week til it clears my system but how do you guys relax and chill. i am so on my feet and always competiaitve its straining my body

wonder if i can buy in the uk?
also i have tried herbal calms before and they didnt do much - i dont think i get anxiety anymore, i just get edgy and frustarted even when not on gear?
will oxycalm chill me right out?

A hobby. I know some of you don't want to hear this,but there is life outside of BB. I fish. Sometimes after work in place of w/o. And on the weekend, it fish on from dawn to dusk.

I was a tester for Oxycalm (live in the UK), and it did some good things for my labido. Getting control of your breathing can make a big difference. Find a comfortable chair/bed and listen to soothing music - it really does work. Alternatively, take a 20min walk at a relaxing pace, see nature.

I enjoy reading, it helps me relax and i educate my self at the same time. You should not have to take medication to relax, you just need to find something that suites you.

Have you consulted a Dr about your BP worries? as nearly every thread you write mentions your BP. He/she may put you on medication for it, BP is no big deal as long as its controlled.

I log off the board for a couple of days, does wonder for my stress levels. Sad, but oh so true.
 
herb, meditation, SELF CONTROL, books, and a day off ALONE, no human contact means no competition.
 
Sex, Alcohol, Nights Out to Party, Fishing, Working Out, Watching Tv.
 
I try not to watch the news...esp anything that has a remote chance of seeing a member of the current administration....then I go for a walk on the beach or in the woods.

I stay away from the board for awhile. I also spend a lot of time at the range with my AK and my H&K .45 Blowing shit up does wonders for your mood.
 
well, i just started taking BP meds. i don't like it. i feel dizzy all of the time and this particular med has hydrochlorothiazide in it, which is a diuretic. it dries me out so bad, and i can't drink that much fucking water in a day. my advice is to do it without meds.
 
I smoke PCP and run around the woods near my house naked howling at the moon. Only problem is sometimes when I snap out of it I'm in county jail or the psych ward.

I take it out on the weights and grunt like guerilla in the gym people think i'm on roids........ha I 'am!!! :evil:
 
Just going out with the g/f for dinner, some wine, and some sex. Or playing Madden. Either way, it doesn't matter.
 
get a fish tank and sit in front of it for a while. it will bring down real quickly and you'll be amazed.

Life in general is stressful...for example, I am a med student who works in 2 research labs, take classes full-time and am a husband and father so needless to say, the blood pressure skyrockets sometimes! ;) What I like to do is get away with my family and do whatever. Whether it is vacation or just an afternoon at the park, I have to get away at least once a week. Life is too short to constantly be worried or stressed. Live it up while you can!

High bp runs in my family and it usually takes alot of meds to keep it down, which I didn't like. Over time I just learned not to let every little thing stress me out. I beleive it's all part of our upbringing, seeing people stressed over the smallest shit rubs off on you when growing up and eventually u learn to deal w/issues the same way!

Now I take things w/a grain of salt and I don't sweat over the small stuff. I haven't had bp problems in over 10years with NO medications, even when on cycle! I've tried to teach this to my parents and other family members but I guess u can't teach old dogs new tricks!
 
My BP always goes up on Tren. It should go down in a couple of days. I started doing Yoga and it really helps mellow me out. Good Luck.
 
Smoking weed keeps my alcohol intake low. A cold beer or whiskey is good for stress but terrible on the liver, especially when on 17aa's.

Oxycalm is a good product too.
 
first you have to determine if you're prone to anxiety... turn to prescriptions as a last resort (e.g. xanax)

breathing definitely helps.... take 5 minutes at least once a day and take long deep focused breahts and then exhale (longer than you inhale).... and relax your thoughts while you're doing this...

I usually drink herbal teas that have chamomile and kava kava.... drink them a few times a day... they help

lastly, for your BP, watch you diet... reduce your salt intake, increase your potassium intake (eat bananas)... drink lots of water

I usually lift weights when I get stressed out from something, those are my best workouts. Also, I jump on my motorcycle and just cruise around the country side. But I have to watch myself, sometimes I like to go too fast. I caught myself doing 130mpg the other day.

it's great if you mix 50% catnip 50% weed only in a water bong though...the smoke is too harsh through pipes or joints

PS im not telling anyone to light up...smoking is a nasty habit but smoking is the quickest method of delivery for catnip...tea is the safest :coffee:
