Its been 8 months and I cant stop thinking about her, checking her Facebook and I see how shes all happy with her new bf and it hurts :/

We'll for one looking at her fb and seeing her happy is only going to make you feel worse because your not happy. Now it's your turn to find a women that was better then she was and that can make you happy. I had a similar situation with this girl I was with for a year and I realized that it couldn't be fixed because she didn't want it to be so I moved on and tried to make myself happy trust me looking at someone else who is happy kills it's sometimes better off not knowing ya know?

She doesn't check your facebook because she is happy with a new dude and moved on, if for some really bizarre reason she checks it she sees you haven't moved on and are probably lonely, which probably makes the bitch feel happy and relieved she's not with you anymore.

You need to make it as if she's fallen off of the face of the earth. Hang with your buddies that make it impossible to mope...flirt it up with every attractive female you encounter...get dating, get laid, have fun. You have a choice: mope about a part of your life that's over, or jump into the next phase of your life that's full of fun and adventure. It really is a CHOICE...so make it already.
 
Having sex with one of the ex's relatives usually helps. Sister or mom would be best, but a cousin, neice or best friend are all good choices.

Since you sound like a faggot, I'd recommend her dad or brother.

My ex and I split a few months back. I thought she was the love of my life. She moved on, I didn't.

Fast forward a couple months of steady hitting the gym, hanging out with friends, and throwing It in some strange, and I could give a fuck anymore. Now I see how shitty we were together, and am happier for it.

It's tough bro. It don't happen overnight, but it will happen.

Defriend her. I don't think you have to defriend all your ex girlfriends or whatever from FB but if you're still having issues after 8 months and still checking her FB page, this seems to be a really simple solution.

I'm not sure the issue is moving on. You have to want to move on before you move on. You gotta learn how to deal with shit but you have to want to be able to handle shit first. It sucks your'e still heartbroken, but it's been long enough. You need to live your life now.
