how difficult is it to bring gear back from mexico?

i am going to be near there in a few weeks for work and was wondering how hard it is to drive across and get soem gear for myself, just a small amount. is this hard to do and whats the best way to do it?

Many people do it, however many people that KNOW how to do it well do get caught. I wouldnt say dont worry about it, many many people get caught daily and its not the ones profiled.
Chances are you should be ok, but by no means think that its safe and easy.

Good call Slopain!!! Congrats on the mod promotion (I assume it is new, I just noticed it)... As Slopain said don't ever let yourself believe it is safe or easy. I go with regularity and every time, I still get that uneasy scared feeling although never let anyone see it!!! Its a matter of plain luck sometimes wether you will be the one they decided to pull out of line. You never know, be safe, and do your prep work, don't go in half ass...

Man, that's true.. I have my girl drive.. She's really cool.. They sometimes ask weird shit to see if you studder like "what did you have to eat?"

It's a risk every time. Customs could decide you're the guy to stop. Bringing gear over in a car makes your car
fair game for seizure. Walking over with a small amount for personal use is probably your best bet - even if you do get caught chances are you will be fined $500 and released.
