How deep to inject dart into quad?

3cc's is not a problem in the quad and I am not a big guy

I'd be walking with a cane for a day with 3cc of liquid in my quad.

I was going to say that it made me limp just thinking about it but I figured some would turn that quote into something

I inject my quads with a 23 guage 1 inch syringe.

Yeah I do about the same. I draw w/ a 20g and inject w/ a 25gx1 needle. I put it about 3/4 of the way in and it seems to do the trick! I love the 25g compared to the 22-23g i used to inject with. I inject test E and it takes me about hte same time to inject w/ a 25 g than any other needle i have used.

use a 1-1/2 inch 23 guage but only go about 1 inch into muscle.

I think he meant how deep he should push in the needle.

Push it in as deep as you can, while leaving just a little bit sticking out in case it breaks and you have to retrieve it.

Bingo. And don't forget to aspirate.

I have never heard of a needle breaking, but boy if it did, it would surely ruin your day.

Ditto 25 ga 1" all the way in...I will hit the outer quad about 6" above the knee one time and about 4" above the next. I run 2cc & 3cc all the time in the quads and the glutes.

yeah just make sure like 2mm of the needle is still out so if it does snap off you can pluck it out with a finger and you dont need any surgery to get it removed from your quad
