Awesome pay, but not very interesting or motivating.
What do you do?

It's not something I'd be doing if I was rich, but I do enjoy it somewhat.

Getting up early is the worst part of it.

5 years ago, I would've said that there's not a job in the world that's cooler than mine. Now, I can't fucking WAIT to get out...

when business is good.....it rocks.

when things are slow or i don't have alot going on.....it's miserable.

i have no one but myself to blame when things are slow.

i don't know how much longer i can take the stress of sales. (5-6 years maybe max). having my own company is even more fuckin stressful...

hopefully the money stacks are piled high at that time

Do they realize that you're using the new coversheets on all TPS reports? Maybe you should re-send the memo...

Outstanding pay, it's something I'm VERY good at, there's a lot of upward mobility and my supervisors love me. On the other hand, the hours SUCK, and most of the people I work with are soulless money whores. All in all, it evens out and I'm satisfied without being exactly "happy."

I like what I do, coworkers are cool, pays well(im never satisfied with how much $$$ I make, always want more), hours suck.

I love both of my jobs, but if the pay was any good, I doubt if I'd still be doing both.
Beats working for a living.

Hmmm, I'm a self employed medical transcriptionist who works from home. It has its good points and its bad points and when the Minuses start seriously outweighing the Pluses I'll go find a real job.

Pluses:
I like the work, really, I actually find the medical stuff interesting.
I'm good at what I do.
I enjoy typing.
I don't have to take shit from anyone and if I really can't stand some SOB I can refuse to accept his work.
I love my office.
I can wear whatever I want.
I make my own hours.
I'm surrounded by my cats.
I can take a break for whatever reason (use your imagination).
I'm alone all day.

Minuses:
Pay sucks, literally I call it getting paid by the pound.
To make okay money I have to do so much typing I'm sick of it and starting to get tendon problems.
No paid holidays/vacations/sick time/workers comp. I take off, I don't get paid.
WAYYYY TOO easy to fuck off.
I actually work much harder than I ever did when I had a "real job" and still end up making less money.
Taxes.
I'm alone all day.

MM - how much do they pay for M.T. - A friend of mine was looking into it so she could be a stay at home mom, but still bring in some $$$

Check your k messages, hon.

Bear in mind, every company is different. The real problem is getting into the business. Most companies don't want to contract out to people with no experience.

It's a funny work, one things for sure, you have to be wired to do this shit, I can't explain it any other way.

Thanks, I did hear its hard to get into it too.

Love my job! Great pay, fitness industry, and I'm boss so I get to sit here posting while getting paid. My minions are good eggs, they don't need much supervision.

Escort service?

lool j/k :)

My jobs pretty good, it could be better but it could be worse. I make pretty decent money but work lots of hours. I have to travel a lot though sometimes it's to really cool places. Right now I've been in Scotland for almost four weeks and not sure how much longer, but I love it over here so I can't complain. With a couple of changes in the corporate structure this could be an amazing place to work for.

Cheers,
