air france lost half my luggage
and a few other americans flying out of boston

some ukrainian official helped me out with the extensive lost luggage forms etc. in Kiev
and then got me through security pronto so I could catch my flight on aerosvit(Ukrainian Airlines) from Kiev to Dnipropetrovsk
he asked for some money and I gave him the equivalent of about 10 US dollars
he wanted more
but fuck it I was on my way

got my luggage too later in dnipropetrovsk
had it sent to the agency that had rented my apartment($40 a night)

spart do u really fly to these crappy countries? i mean wouldnt it be cheaper (and easier on the eyes) if you just flew to like hawaii or something? the chicks there are hotter anyways + fun in the sun, no abandoned air strips and bunkers, and no girls with fucked up bangs?

much of this is very interesting to me beyond the female angle. I'd be bored as fuck in hawaii or some similar traditonal tourist type vacation place. I've always been a history buff and I'm schooled in economics so visiting a former USSR country and observing the pace of the economic changes first hand is appealing itself. I'd love to stay there longer and really scrounge around.

Luckily, my job takes me to these places as well.

Last week I was in Budapest and Lativa - fun times on both accounts.

Girls in the former USSR are great fun.

Good times

I dont bother with that email crap,that is why I elected to spend the cash and go make my selections in person. After my initial visit through the agency (A foreign affair) I learned what I needed and now go solo. Getting some interpreters numbers is the key. They're happy to help you for about 20 dollars every three hours or so. And I have another agency that will rent apartments for 40-60/night.
