Did you build that boat????

BTW....what about the guys that dont fit into the even numbers......mine are 16.75" at 6'2" and long ass limbs it suxxxxxxxxxx

Rudedog, it is an Olympic class Flying Dutchman. Built in Germany, by Mader boat works. This particular boat competed in the 1984 Olympics. It has been completely rerigged. We are currently training for the North American championships.

The FD was chosen to be an Olympic boat because it is so fast and difficult to sail.

Best regards,

Hey Helmsman, are you racing this weekend? I think we have a sail planned on Sunday afternoon...probably from Shelter Island, to downtown and back, no race though.

Glootz,
We did some racing a few weeks ago. The boat is proving to be very fast. Last week we did some speed testing against a guy with new sails.

The boat is back in the garage for a few more modifications. And we are STILL waiting for our new sails to arrive from Denmark. (it's been over four weeks since we wired the money).

What we are doing at this point is hyper-tuning the rigging so that it works flawlessly. Then we test some more, and back again. We should be in South Bay next weekend.

Awesome....... I know little to nothing about sailing but just thought that boat looked smooth as hell.

20" cold.....at 6'3"--friggin long limbed....

Damn!!!!!! It just seems like I would have to weigh about 260 - 275 lbs to look like I have any mass. And no way do I want to weigh that much. Oh well

Actually thats about right, I was up to 272 a couple months ago. I'm down to about 257 , trying to cut up, it hasnt hurt my arm measurement, but has just killed my chest and thighs.

Well...i have 29 of them. The biggest are the .375 H & H Magnum and the .338-378 Weatherby Magnum. If you put 110 grains of Vita Vouri 560 High Energy powder in the Weatherby case...it can knock someone unconscious from shooting it.

17" and at 6'4, thats thin. (am currently 210-215lbs) but then again when I started to lift and train they were 13" (and I was only 165 lbs). I remember measuring them!!!!

Just a twig over 12".
