Fellas I really dont know where to start or what to say. I've watched the hearings all day and I'm at a loss of words because there was not a single solitary person up there that knew a damn thing about steroids. One dumbass HOP representative asked "Who makes steroids"? Then the dad who lost his son because the juice crawled out of the bottle and hung him, said that only kids and wanna be's use faulty, mexican gear and that the "Big Boys" of MLB get the "REAL" stuff. He didn't know where tho... weird. Oh well, it's insane. The panel and reps also said ephedrine and methamphitamines are the exact same thing, that steroids are as HARDCORE as cocaine and heroin. Sorry guys but this is fucking pathetic. IF they were genuinly concerned about athletes health... Why dont they hold congressional hearings on tobacco and alcohol use?? They kill way more than steroids will ever think about killing, and yet an 18 year old boy can go buy as many as he wants.. Sure.. EPHEDRINE AND TESTOSERONE ARE KILLERS! YOU WILL DIE INSTANTLY!! But if you want to be a chain smoking alcoholic.. go right ahead.. Wheres the hypocrisy?

I'd love to have a one-on-one meeting with some of the people in the "house of dumbasses". I think that they simply need people to come forward and explain the truth. If all they hear is that steroids are bad, well... what do you expect them to believe?

If only the science community actually said something... they have such a strong influence, but sometimes a little money keeps your mouth stapled shut, even if it hurts. I don't think letters do much, because a letter isn't as credible as a person that can actually refute your arguments on the spot.

We need Arnold to testify Maybe he could actually tell them that steroids aren't harmful unless they're abused. And maybe pigs can fly...

Congress people are not dumbasses. You do not get to where they are by being a dumbass. It's simply what they want you to believe. Steroids is a headline grabber. That's all. They're actully much smarter and craftier than you could ever imanage. While steroids is all over the media, I found one little
article about Bush signing a Bill into law that will allow drilling in an Alaska wildlife refuge. This is not a coincidence. They know how to make money and what it takes to make money period. In this case, simply divert people's attention to steroids while all that oil is being soaked up.
