Hourly people-would you work OT if you were offered it?

if you had the chance to work OT on a normal basis would you? I am not talking maybe one day a week, but say 10-hour days, maybe an 8hr sturday? I do understand that there are many variables to this question, such as hobbies, family, occupation, social life, school, etc. so would you?

If I could do it sometimes, but it wouldn't be expected of me every week.

I would be all over it at my job. My position is part time, but anything over 5 hours a day is OT. We are not allowed to get over 5 though, but if we ever were, I surely would.

depends on the money... if the money was worth my free time... because time is all i have right now that i can truly call my own... because the rest doesn't matter in the long haul... however you nee money to survive and such.

Helllll yesss. If they would allow me overtime I would be all over that!! I would just move into my cube. hehehe

I would do it on occasion. I mean work is fun and money is good but its good to have time to yourself to. =]

Hell yeah, I make a killing on OT. I work quite a bit of OT and still have lots of time to lift.

Absolutely not.

I strongly believe that any payment I receive for working overtime should be for what I do and not how long I spend there.

If my entire Saturday or Sunday is not worth more, then the job they would have me do is probably not that important anyway.

well said. get paid by the job, not by the hour. sheit, if I could get that, I'd be much happier.
