Okay, I think its been awhile since this has been discussed, so its time to discuss it again. :)

A lot of people claim to notice the phenomenon where they see hot girls with ugly/fat guys a lot of the time, but they dont see the reverse scenario.
Do you believe this phenomenon is true? Why do you think it may be true, if you do think it is?

Also, do you think that beautiful women that are dating really fat guys are even completely happy and fufilled in their relationships? Does she still want to get physically passionate and intimate with him? Or does she do it more so out of obligation?


Here's the real life example which made me think of this:

There's this really attractive girl who lifts weights, who is dating a pretty fat football player who lifts weights at my school. (I guess it makes enough sense, heheh)
The thing is, this girl is one of the most beautiful girls in our school, heh. She could get any guy she wants. She's a star on our track team, and she has some of the sexiest shoulders, arms, and legs, in our school. You can tell that she works out.
Oh that and she has a gorgeous face, and really gorgeous hair.

I'm 6' 258lbs and not all solid (though I do have stacks of muscle, I have 18% body fat covering a lot). I'm an offensive lineman in college. My last two girlfriends have been very petite, gorgeous girls (surprised myself that I hooked up with them). I am always asked "how do you get girls like that?" What do I do? I hold intelligent conversations, I do fun things and keep it exciting and above all, I'm 100% honest about everything to everyone.

I hope this isnt too personal to ask but... how do you feel the romantic/physical aspect of your relationship was? did you feel she was into you enough?
 
My brother and his wife look like Ralph and Alice Cramdon from the "Honeymooners" How she can get turned on by his fat disgusting body is beyond me, and when he takes a dump it smells the whole house up.

Obviously she does though, I heard bodies slapping and moaning back when we were living at my parents. Had to be his fat slapping up against her. Gross. I couldn't stand to see him walk around in his underwear. Women are just weird.

I've come to the point that I don't believe anything women say about what they find attractive about a guy.

What I am learning is that the less I give a fuck about having a girl and the more I let that be known, the more girls get interested. Instead of being nice and being careful about what I say, I just say and do what the fuck I want.

Everytime I have adopted that attitude chicks have come. It's weird.

I have never been with someone chubby but they can be sexy especially if they have confidence in themselves which they usually lack.

the few times i actually dirtied my brain trying to think about this phenomenon, i put it down to a few things:

1) the ugly/fat guy fairly much devotes himself to the girl. you know the drill - pays for the girl, picks her up all the time, drops her off, buys her stuff all the time, takes her out all the time - you get it, im sure

2) after the initial doormat routine, the guy grows on the girl and she sees him as a person, rather than the pathetic bag of testicleless XY chromosome exhibiting flesh taht he really is

3) people in general, and therefore women, can be pretty fucked. self esteem problems, perception problems, insecure - the lot. so quit thinking of these girls as if theyre special just because they have a nice bum. some of them are quite stupid, and make some pretty pathetic decisions.

4) drugs. its amazing how many girls fall in love with the guy who buys her pills for her. the money thing falls into this category.

personally, when i go out on the prowl, i seldom buy a girl a drink. in fact i cant remember the last time i bought a girl a drink....i must have, though. anyway it must have been more than 6 months ago. but anyway, the point is, i offer the girl nothing more than good company and eye candy (yes djufo, thats right, im talking about myself ;) you fat bitch) and maybe a few minutes of my time. thats it. the day i become one of those soulless dickheads who think that being a good boyfriend involves losing all sense of self is the day i buy a ticket to russia and kill myself after picking up as many of those blondies as humanly possible
 
There are spindly dudes with big fat chicks all the time. What are you talking about?

Most guys who are in awesome shape are dickheads pure and simple. They think their shit doesn't stink and wouldn't "lower" themselves to give any woman the time of day, let alone one that is very pretty and sought after by many men (though the vast majority of those men are hardly quality).

I find though that really really big dudes who have a bit of fat (they look kind of like big teddy bears) are the nices, realest guys going.

Yeah I bet there are some really nice overweight guys with a good set of values & a job but it's been my experience the majority of the time many of these guys treat their girlfriends like shit.

When I was taking a printing course a few years ago, there was this hottie in my class that one of the most incredible asses I've seen & I wanted to date her.

But I found out she was dating this overweight, loud mouth jerk. He treated her like shit, he cheated on her, made fun & insulted everyone else.

But she still stayed with him why I don't know. I wanted to date her along with one of my other buddies.

But she didn't want either of us, only wanted him.

I will never understand it, the only 2 theories I have are that he has a thick wallet, &/or more than enough inches to fill her.



But what I don't understand is 10yrs ago when I was in highschool & in college in 1998, girls/women didn't seem to be into overweight guys at all.

In highschool they used to make fun of me & all the other chubby & over weight kids.


Now a days I see a ton of babes with overweight guys who treat them like shit?

To answer the 2 points:

I felt the girls were very into me and vice versa. I've been lucky enough to have girls that had exceptionally sexual appetites. Both loved big men and couldn't stand to be with smaller guys. <Dr. Steve> I believe it has something to do with the possibility that bigger guys are less apt to cheat on or be an asshole to the women because it's NOT as easy for us to get women and they like that comfort</Dr. Steve>.

And no, I'm not 100% honest 100% of the time, but I try...sometimes it just doesn't happen like that though. :)

I have been suffering the opposite problem as of late. I just got dumped by a fucking gorgeous girl, that was totally in love with me, and vice versa because she couldn't deal with me being perfect, and everything she wanted. She feels like she's not deserving of this kind of a relationship due to a lack of self-esteem. (just a guess) My take on the fat guy/hot girl deal boils down to the same shit. I was at a strip club last night, and this hot as hell stripper started showing interest in me. I told her I liked the way she handled that pole, and she says "you're in luck because I love bald guys". I go talk to my buddy that works there, turns out she's engaged to this beer-bellied out of shape bouncer that works there too. Obviously, she was workin' me, but the point is, this girl is extremely hot on all levels, and she's dating a fat guy. I'm gonna get myself a little belly goin', and see what happens. Maybe I wouldn't be such a threat then. Plus I think there is a little Darwinism going there, too. The fat guys know where the food is....

okay people need to start differentiating between:

* fat guy (roly poly, 5'7" fatty mcpatty like a drew carey)

and

* big guy with broad shoulders. biker looking dude. with beer belly.

the 2nd one gives off an aura of strength, protection, warmth. The other is just ugly and fat and only destined for comedy support roles in life. Or sumo wrestling.

hehe. Exactly. Notice how some many possessive boyfriends, who have their girl wrapped around their fingers -- won't allow her to have *any* friends. Male or female.

He's smart -- he knows they'll eventually become a negative factor in their relationship when they start filling her head with bouts of "he's an asshole, leave him!".

And both genders of "friends" have personal agendas on their plate (females - to come clubbing with them. males - so they can make their move).
 
Well, sometimes when you start dating he's not fat - he just gains weight during the relationship. But by just looking at two people one would be silly to assume what it's all about.

because the chance of the fat guy leaving her or cheating on her is minimal compared to a guy who has looks and a body. Add a brain into that for either guy and the girl is still gonna pick the fat dude. He is just lucky to have a chick this hot and knows his chance of landing another is not very good.

So, he wins she wins (well at least from loyalty and maybe he can fuck) In short, it is a safe bet for her compared to the guy who has all the right stuff.
 
I think women do look for more in a guy, especially as they hit about 25+.

Things like "if I have kids with this guy will they be morons or will they be bright?" -- so they ask "where did you go to school?"

Things like "is this guy going to be able to financially support a lifestyle that would be comfortable to me and our children?" -- so they ask "what do you do for a living?".

And yes, I do think they see heavier or "dorkier" guys as safe in some ways. And in all fairness, they've probably just come of 6-8 years of dealing with attractive yet shallow, self-centered guys.

After a year apart from him she is now back with this loud mouth, ugly jerk who thinks he's better than everyone else.

i like petite sticks (preferably with tits) cause this way they are most likely tight enough for my small utensil, and i am stronger than them usually
