Oh, and thanks to HH! The crazy one got out of jail yesterday and calls me up to say she's coming over. That is the proper way to go about it. No need to write some long-ass wierdo email or anything. That screams *wierdo*. It's like walking up to someone on the street/at a party/gym whathaveyou with a cute short attention grabbing line as opposed to risking coming on too strongly with a wholelotta spiel. Either the other person will respond or they won't but if you don't put it out there you may never know.

When I first began online dating I would not send out solicitations to men because I figured if they didn't find me appealing then why should I chase? Silly idea as:

1. they may not have seen my profile for whatever reason.

2. though they may have been interested initially I found that many men decided not to reach out because they automatically assumed that I wouldn't return the interest (read = they were intimidated).

3. some men actually told me that they thought I was a *bot*.

This is a numbers game. The more times you cast your line, the higher the likelihood is that you will catch something, the more times you catch something, the higher the likelihood is that you will find one that you may want to *keep*...... if only just long enough to taste her!

I see what you meant by sample greeting. I've only initiated conversation with one girl, all the others have messaged me first. I did something a little different with my profile to stand out from the other cookie cutter male retards.

Back in the day I made the mistake of engaging a raging psycho over the fone. I used a calling card so they couldn't identify the number I called from. The conversation was like 15 minutes but goodness that was like 14 minutes too long. But that was back in the day when I was *polite at all costs*.

One of the questions I still like to ask people when getting to know them (both male and female) is, "When you were a little kid what did you want to be when you grew up and why?"
