Home gym

A question for all those of you that like working out at home: Where do you get your equipment from? I'm looking for quality stuff and decent prices. Preferably online. Thanks all.....EXTRACT

Buy a power rack. This and an olympic weight set plus a sturdy bench should be the core of your home gym.

There is a lot of cheap and crappy equipment out there such as the ones advertised in the muscle magazines. Stay away from that. Buy heavy duty commercial gym equipment.

I suggest you call the gyms near you. Some of them might be looking to replace some of their equipment and benches. If you can't find anything in the used merchandise market buy new directly from the manifacture. Cybex has a good power rack. Other companies to look into are life fitness and nautilus.

Ironmaster

Best home gym you can buy,,,I've had it for several years
not cheap, but works.
Safety stops, lockouts,,,, with attachments, you can do almost everything.

I don't know how somebody could workout at home. You can't go as heavy as you could in a gym. I just think you would get an all around better workout at a gym. Plus it saves you money from buying all that crap.

Actually, the ironmaster will handle 1000lbs without need for a spotter........can you squat more than that?

OK before everyone makes ASSumptions. I do have a membership. This is what I'm doing. I just finished fixing up my basement. It's about the size of my gym now. Every one of my friends that work out we all go to the same gym. This might seem stupid to some of you, but I'm gonna open up a gym down here. Everyone I talked to said they'd come. Depending on how much everything comes out to, that's how much I'll charge everyone.

Hammer Stenght equip. kicks ass, also man you might check out Bigger Stronger Faster, not sure exactly what the website it, but put that in any search engine, and you'll find it, the really have awesome euip. that lasts forever, and the prices aren't all too bad either

Don't believe any crap you hear about "you can't just work out at home!". That's just hot air bullshit coming from roidboys who
just have to go to the gym and be seen. Personally, I've had
my best workouts in my own garage with nothing but my squat
rack, bench, free weights, and radio!

I wish i had a big home gym. I dont have to watch the homo's posing at 20% BF and the fat bitch wearing spandex. And i cant stand when the fuckers leave head sweat on the machines. Fuckers. If i had the money and my own place, there would be a ncie gym here.

I got on Ebay the other day and typed in Smith-machine. They had a smith machine on there for $200.00, which some people dont care for smith machines, but I personlly like them for some lifts. Check it out

that sounds pretty cool i wish i could do something like that. you will probably make some good money.

yea, the fat bitches in spandez are the worst!:alien: if i were you, i would go to a local high school, hey usually have sturdy equip. they might like to get rid of, and i'm sure they would like to have some extrta cash for their sports programs. you might want to go ask. edII

i bought out a small freeweight gym

and put most of the stuff in my cellar, best thing I ever did. Convenient and effective. Easy in and out and no more excuses. Look in the local want advertisers for used commercial grade equipment, should be tons of it cheap!

I've got a BodySolid half rack system. It's been great. Bought it on the Internet and it was delivered in about 4 days. 13 or 14 boxes I think!
