Holy Hail........

4:00 this morning I jump up out of a sound sleep and yelled out "WHAT IS THAT?" I first thought my son got up I guess and was making noise but as soon as I said that I realized it was hail beating up against the house. Scared me to death. I never heard it that loud before.

It was at 4:00 this morning...it was very bad. The other girl that works here lives in Watson and was woke up to the same thing.

I hope there isn't any damage because they never replace the whole thing, they patch it!! Which could look like crap. I was most concerned about my car, ran out there to make sure it was completly under carport.

Damn, we barely get hail here in Ma. But while we were in Italy they had a tornado a few miles a way and we got slammed with the outskirts of it. The hail did Bad damage to every thing..Looked like the heavens just opened up and dropped a bunch of rock everywhere

I can be very damaging, especially to your car. About 2 years ago a hail storm hit while I was driving down road and was scared it was gonna bust my windshield. Pulled into a car wash (last one open) to wait it out.

There were also reports of tornadoes that hit last night as well, just not in my area...hit closer to New Orleans.

Hell, the way my bedroom is on my house.....I very seldom even hear the rain outside. I had no problem with that last night. I am so freaking tired now. Once I jumped out of bed and checked out the hail, I couldn't go back to sleep.

that sounds like me Saturday night. Went to bed at around 2 am and was wide ass awake at 5.

Had a bit of Tornado damage again last night here... Not sure exactly where, but the last one that past thru did one hell of a job on a few subdivisions.

I thought I heard them say something about tornadoe around New Iberia but wasn't sure. Caught the tail end of the news broadcast

I know for sure it hit Breaux Bridge pretty hard... still no reports that I can find on New Iberia. But heard there was one that passed thru here also.
