I think that tat is freaking amazing, its not what I would want, but that is irrelevant, a tat should be all about you, not what others like. I can appreciate the artistry and dedication to go through that.
You obviously found the best artist to do it, because that tat is a work of art! Ive seen too many people have joe numbnuts do their tat, and they are not happy. Yours is as perfect as anyone could ask. +1

it looks better in person, the top half that has mostly healed and faded a bit is a lot more natty looking.

Seeing the finished picture, its completely sick. I think that even if one is "against" tats, you would still have to appreciate it. Your ink guy is damn good. Did you come up with the design, draw it yourself, or give him what you wanted and steer him?

i've had a few older ladies stop and comment on it and they definetly weren't tat types, pretty cool.
and i just gave my bro an idea...he did a small stencil, i liked it, and told him to run with it...amazing how shitty it looked with just the outline, a bunch of crappy circles and twirls...neat watching it come together, i'll proly slowly creep it around the pec and back area over time, proly gonna add in some grey mechanical features like piping/valves/and hoses on the other side of my body, have it tie in together in the back/chest area.
