Holy Crap AppleTV is Amazing

It's way cool.

Basically it links to a computer with iTunes in your house and plays movies you download on your TV.

I've got DVR's, multi-disc DVD's, video VJ's... and this think kicks all of their asses combined. It makes me want to rip my entire DVD collection and put it on the same hard disc.

I'm impressed.

Just downloaded: Mystery Science Theater 3000 -- The Movie and a couple other 1-hour MST3K episodes.

Apple needs to make a TV that goes with it. I'd like to see a Mac/TV combination.

what's really cool is if you have a newer computer/ultra thin's they have the tech to wireless transmit to the tv or to the apple tv device..

samsung 8 series tv is cooler than apple tv. but everything is wireless an hooked up already. my laptop is bluetoothed to my tv through my playstation. dont need itunes. my iphone and imac already talk to each other behind my back as well.

so i could download porn to the apple tv box from the internet and then hook it up to my regular full size tv and watch it there.

if you use airplay you don't even need a cord, you can just use wifi

this technology is too confusing for me. so the apple thingy does not have to be hooked up to a computer to download stuff? i have a sony media player and what i have to do is download movies to my computer, transfer it to a hard drive which is hooked up to the media player which is hooked up to my tv with an hdmi cord and then i can watch it.
