I totally freaked out on this holiday, and it got progressively worse as each day passed. It started with like 5 beers and hot dogs on the 4th, then the next day was pizza (like 4-5 slices!) and 1 beer, then on the 6th I ate a burrito from Taco Bell and 2 klondike bars, and 1 ice cream sandwich. I finished off Sunday with some wine, a mudslide, a hotdog, and a slice of cake and a sliver of pie. Every other meal was pretty healthy (eggs, etc.), and I was pretty active (I helped two families move over the holidays)
The weird thing is that yesterday was the skinniest I've ever looked, like I was continuing to lose weight despite the huge high-GI carb splurges. Pretty weird. But today I think the carb/water retention has caught up because I don't look as lean.
It seems my willpower was on holiday too.
