Please Scroll Down to See Forums Below Well I sold a piece of equipment, but the guy dont want it for a couple weeks so ill probably only work on it for a couple hours today. Lets see, after that I think ill put up my hammock in a nice shady area and possibly be searching for my lost shaker of salt later this evening. As for the afternoon im thinking of going to the lake which is only about 20 miles from here and take my great dane with me and let him run the lakeshore. And after that I might go have lunch at the pool hall with a friend of mine and shoot a couple games. My definition of layed off: paid vacation. Don't get me wrong, if something comes up ill go back but im not going to sit around and worry about in the meantime. I've got shit to do. Wasting 2 hours a day on the internet is one of them.
Ho hum, it's actually nice being layed off. My plans today.

I have to admit though it's really strange. I've only been out of work about 3 months in the past 12 years. Now it's the worst ive ever seen, and I may very well take off till next spring. It's just really weird you know, walking outside on this weekday morning, looking around, and realizing I don't have to be anywhere and can do whatever the fuck I want. Instead of bitching about it, I think I should be happy. Theres better things to do than work your ass off all your life. I got the bills under control so wtf. Hell, now that im not obligated to any drug tests I might even go out behind the garage and fire one up now and then. And of course theres my prospecting buddy thats taking off for the southwest later on this year and I may tag along for a week or two. Did I mention id like to squeeze a nap in there somewhere?

I've been out of work now for just over a month and I'm going absolutely crazy. You'd think it would be a nice break, but what ends up happening is just time...time and time to fill.
Things may be looking up though. Got the call back for a job I interviewed with last week. Going in for three separate interviews and then lunch with those I would work with. Gotta be a good sign....

There should be no unemployment in this country when the US is giving billions of $$$ to Israel and other countries out there. Take care of your own before you take care of others!!!!!!!!!!!!! But thats not the case here in the US.. Its all about the natural resources the US want from other countries, thats why the US gives aid to them.

No, this last round at work I paid off everything except a couple credit cards and they both have the protector on them so I just call them and tell them im laid off and I dont have to pay them and interests isn't charged. My main expense will be beer. Sitting at home and picking my nose is better than work anyday.
And let's not hear it from the goodie two shoe people, if you didn't believe everything corporate america shoved up your ass we'd all be working out of a hall.
