No comment on the farting tho..... :worried:

what's this heat thing?

I'm usually good for at least two pumps... Shit! Sorry, I didn't read the rest of it. Um, three weeks?

It's a new-fangled concept that supposedly warms the house via hot water forced thru piping to large "tank-like" structures sitting on the floor called a radiator.....

It's supposed to be used when it gets cold and also helps prevent the pipes from bursting thus flooding the house....

Not sure whether or not I should use it yet or not....it's 63 Degrees F in the house now...

Mine is set on 76 degrees 24/7. I`ll shut it off in April.

Yes.

You're bill is going to be about 10% higher this year than last year. I'm hoping for a mild winter in the north east.

The Radiant heating is more effective than the forced air systems. Use it as much as possible.

Also get a couple of humidifiers for your house and you can keep your thermostat around 68 - 70 range and achieve the same effect as 74 - 76 in a dry house.

Keeps going higher every year.....*sigh*

Actually I keep the 'stat at 60-65 degrees F, depending on the time of day....I have a programmable thermostat so the heat goes on & off depending on the time of day & is set for 60 degrees F overnight....

Yeah, I don't like forced air systems either..... radators aren't bad -- but they do take up a lot of space which, depending on the room, can be annoying....

Same state, I refuse to turn it on. My GF hates me but after keeping the A/C on all the time it's nice to see the bill drop 150 bucks.
