has anyone ever heard of contracting hiv from a SEALED bottle of gear. using a new needle and never sharing.? has there ever been a threat of counterfeit gear being contaminated with hiv,m and could it live in that king of environment. reason i ask is that i got a 10cc bottle of test, i broke off the seal and did a shot with a brand new needle out of the package. my concern was , even sealed, if it was fake stuff, is there a risk? a little worried. am i being paranoid?? anone ever hear of this?

You guys keep asking this same strange question-(see down to the Posting "Is It Possible" ) Its IS possible to contract AIDS from a hermetically sealed vial ofjuice if someone involved in its production took the time and trouble to infuse the liquid with contaminated blood/or lab samples. That scenario is so farfetched that l would never even consider the possiblility. Are you worried that cold medecines or allergy syrups you buy OTC are contaminated with the AIDS virus? The chances are the same. Are you wondering if that supersized Coke you bought at Mickey-D's has some AIDS contaminated materials in it? Probably a better chance, since handling and distribution are much faster,and more chance for disgruntled employees.
You will contract AIDS just like everyone else does- unprotected sex, transfusions, sharing needles etc.

Thats quite the ignorant answer, dont assume that just because someone has a smart ass answer that their right, anything possible buddy, and vials with caps are quite easy to get as well as the fact that not all steriods that are purchased come out of a pharmaceutical factory

THIS, my friends is the reason that I'm still discriminated so much for being open about my HIV/AIDS status. So many people to teach. I suppose you think you can get HIV from kissing or a mosquito too! Seriously though, this type of stuff Does really affect my life. I get kisses on the cheek instead of the lips EVEN from Gay men because they FEAR. <sigh>.

the hiv virus can only live out of the body for an EXTREMELY EXTREMELY SHORT period of time. As for contracting it from countfeit vials, ect ect etc the answer is no.

you should be equlally worried about heppatitis, its much more common and can live longer outside the body.

Possibly the gear you took affected your lyphatic system. Ever notice how some of the bodybuilders in shredded shape onstage have swollen lymph glands near the tie in of the leg into the crotch? It's just laterally located to the genitals. And some have them in their armpits. But who knows, maybe you had exposure to someone through sex or whatever during that time. In any event get tested.

Well I have never had a transfusion and havenever shared a needle and have also had protected sex and I contracted the virus- don't know how.
