Hitting on your friends gf's/bf's, has it ever unintentionally escalated into more

I've always had this theory to treat my buddy's girlfriends as if they weren't in a relationship. Reason being is because I feel like it makes the girl more at ease around me when I hang out with them. Doesn't a woman in a relationship still like to be reminded by other men that she's beautiful? I'm not talking about staring at her rack or creep shouting. I mean shooting her subliminal jokes when her bro walks out of the room and even when he's in the room.

I know others do this same thing, have you ever started catching back strong signals from your friends bf/gf? Like over-the-top staring, txting, etc? What's your approach to handle these situations and have you ever crossed the line (honestly)

Never let the mixed signals get sent in the first place. If it's your friend's girl, be nice and respectful but treat her like she's made of pure plutonium when physical/emotional issues come into play.

it's ridiculously easy for your buddy's girl to sweat you in that situation because she sees you at your best for prolonged periods of time. There's no pressure on you to make a move because she's taken, and there's no pressure on you to entertain her because she's gonna be hanging around you no matter what cause of the friend. Just nonstop exposure to you being happy and confident while her guard is let down also

i have had friends' gfs try to straight up make out with me, in addition to the stuff you mentioned. I've never slipped up, but i know a lot of guys in the same situation who have.

you have an unfair advantage in this sitch and your job as a good friend to not exploit it

I thought it was bro code not to mess in any way with the gf even post breakup. Or is that just my little circle of friends? We have an unspoken (and very strict) no flirt policy amonge the females.

The strictness comes from terms like "whore" "slut" "bitch". There hasn't been a word invented to bash horny guys, so there are no codes
