I did a shot in my left buttock on friday, and usually I'm sore the next two days where I inject. But something weird happened this time. My spine around the lower back area is so sore I can't sit or anything. It hurts to walk. I even feel my pants pushing against this. Anyone ever have this happen, it's totally different pain from where the shot was, what do you guys think? I didn't bang it or anything, and the outside skin doesn't look red or bruised, could I have hit something when injecting that is causing this pain.

If you inject too close to your ass crack then you can hit something involved with your spinal cord. I used to date a nurse that told me this. She said you could lose one of your legs if you hit the wrong spot. Always stay away from the middle of your ass!

no I know to aim in the upper outer corner, but I still think maybe I hit something I wasn't suppose to. Thanks anyways
