mm107's blog said:Whats up World?! Well guess what, i deadlifted 595lbs yesterday at the gym and i have the popped bloode vessels in my face to proove it. This was after going for a max single in the squat cage so i am VERY happy right now. I never have hit 595 before, especially not at 185lbs. My best was like 560-580 at 205.
Squat Day:
Warmed up until 3.5 plates each side. Then slapped on my briefs.
365×3
403×2
455×2
484×1
504×0 - Missed this one, actually dumped it, since i was in the rack.
It was the first time in a while walking out the heavy weight and my abs really are alot weaker then they used to be. My abs played the biggest part of walking it out. I was crunched over. I dont know if its true or not, but i always felt box squating is alot harder then a regular squat. Tell me what YOU think…
Deadlift:
After missing a heavy squat i was very happy. I went ahead and deadlifted. I felt like i was on fire yesterday.
I was wearing my metal squat suit to deadlift in.
I dont remember my work set too much because i was so excited about the weight going up i was not even counting.
But my last set was:
595lbs
I hitch up a little, but this is the gym and not a competition. The hitch is very subtle, but i felt myself do it. But reguardless, the weight felt amazing in my hands. Here is the video to proove it from someone watching on their camera phone.
