His & Her Bath

See those sink bowls? I have two in my Master bath that are identical in the bowl shape. But that are a frosted ice color. Mounted below them, I have two lights that shine upwards, illuminating the bowls and making them glow softly at night like a nightlife.

One suggestion is do away with the faucet design and instead mount the spigot and handled directly into the wall. Higher mirrors to match the height and shape of the window and you are good to go.,

Very nice idea.

**mental note**

They wouldn't happen to be Alchemy bowls would they?

I would have liked to have seen the whole vanity wall sheathed in maple with tall long mirror inserts on either side with the window boxed and framed in birdseye maple. I would have also liked to see different pendant lights. The scale is all wrong on both the mirrors and the light fixtures.

It appears that that room was built for a family of dwarves.

Funny you should mention that - my clients are both barely 5' tall so they requested the vanity to be lower than the norm and the ceilings are all 10' or higher.

That's really going to hurt the resell value!

Nothing hurts resale value in The Hamptons.

Besides if you knew the client you'd know that they want only what is best for them, money no option.

Well, there's alot of truth in that! I guess money spends the same whether you are short or tall! LOL! I could probably wash my shins in those sinks! Seriously though, I went into a house the other day and the people that live there are really tall(He is 6'11" and she is 6'5") and the sinks and counters were real high! They were about as high as my wife's shoulders. It was very funny looking at her standing beside them!

Good job. The lighting over the sinks doesn't look very good for shaving, putting on makeup etc.
With only one light bulb over each sink, they're going to get harsh shadows.
Love the color scheme.
Can you see the tv while in the tub?

You're right, there are some nice overhead lights - but I'm not happy with those red pendants - but the client wanted them and had them installed. sigh............

Yes, you can and the tub has a lovely view of a lanscape.

Awesome work lady.:)

Now can you fit all that into a teeny tiny bath room.:(

That bath looks bigger than my bedroom.:D

Velvett,

That has LI written all over it.

What would really be cool is some additional mirror work.

What you could do is add two additional mirrors: on the left, add one that sqaures off the mirror on one side, and moves at different angles to the flat one, from flush with the round one to perpendicular to it.

On the right, add a small mirror about 8 inches in diameter with stronger magnification that rotates out to any angle.

These twowould allow a more powerful reflection of the person from any conceivable angle.

But then....that would be just like mine.

Also, that window sucks.

You are very talented! Our master bathroom is not nearly that fancy but does have his and her wash basins like the one you showed. Funny, my side is always not as clean as hers is...

It's cool though cuz you can talk while brushing teeth, shaving, etc without spitting over her shoulder or under her arm to reach the sink

someone.. I forget who said:
That tub is big enough to have a diving board and a slide...lol

Especially for the pygmys that reside in that household. Hopefully they own water wings.

I like it overall.. That tub would be the place to get freaky deaky and then some! The small window isn't my style though I would want something to cover the entire span of the wall. I like a more open feel myself.

Wodin is right, I don't even want to think about how I would make love to you in that bathroom!!! Velvett is too hot for this board. They should have laws about this kind of stuff.
