High Var dose = more gains?

I have decided to do a var only cycle for my first cycle and probably only one I will do, although who knows. I have been doing research for past 6 months and I've realize everyone says to use 40-60mg ed for about 8 weeks. What I am wondering is why you need to take so much because I was planning to do something like 25mg ed for 6 weeks? I am not a competive bodybuilder and I don't care to put on more then 10lbs at one time because it seems it would be too obvious to people such as my employer, or family members. Does taking 50mg rather then 25mg really give you twice the gains in lbm?
 
there is supposidly some type of thresh-hold to wear you can get strength at the lower dose but the actual visible body mass shifts occur with higher dose 30 mgs and above

note: 70-80 mgs should be the upper most limit to take any more would not do any better

so your saying if I take only 25mg I will get increased strength but I won't see any shift in visible body mass even on a first cycle? If so I guess that would be pretty pointless since i don't really care about strength. If i were to cut the cycle down to 5 weeks and and bump the dose to 35mg would that make a big difference? Like I said before I am not looking for a dramatic change which will cause people to say "damn have you been using steroids?"
 
The dosage depends on your weight. If you are a 250 lbs person you obviously need more than if you are 150 lbs guy.
The dosages you read usually come from people who have been training for a while and their weight is 200 lbs or more.

For a newbie, the maximum should be (Body Weight)x(0.2)=Daily dose in mg.

Assuming that you are training and eating correctly, you should be gaining about 1lbs per week give or take.

Oh, and when you finish the cycle come and tell us if this would still be your one and only cycle. :)
 
you don't blow up on var like you would on dianabol or testosterone. it's more subtle.

if i were you, i'd pony up and buy enough to run 40mg/day for 8 weeks. if you're going to run a cycle, what's the point in half assing it?

I can't say I don't have the requisite experience to tell you a definitaive yes or no on the LOWER dose

the info I shared came form Huck :) which is True


on a side note my first cycle was a measily 300 mgs of primo with like 15-25 mgs of dbol a day (all in the am)

and I blew up just fine thanks :)
