High SHBG

i have high SHBG, mid to hig level test. Estradiol is high at 53 pg/nl. I didnt get free test checked out. I assume it is very low as FSH is low as well. What mgiht be my problem. Also high cortisol. Would you assume i have way too much estrogen going around my body. I get hot flashes, reddish eyes, etc...Let me knowl.

the estradiol is high but the issue is it proportionate to the level of free test (high e and high test vs high e low test--big difference). Young men may have a ratio of testosterone to estrogen of 50:1. The ratio drops to 20:1 or even as low as 8:1 with normal aging.

those symptoms could be from anything (drugs/obesity/thyroid/low zinc/)--follow-up with your doc or find a hormone specialist

dont do drugs/have 10% BF/ low on zinc? How can those be symptoms. Do i need to take ZMA maybe???Could be thryoid however i have been checked for thryoid and docs say all fine. So i believe it might be too much estrogen adn imbalance in my system. Coudl that be it because all the things you mentioned other than zinc are def not problem. Maybe thryoid but who knows.

my test was 626., My e2 was 53 pg/nl. My SHBG was 59. FSH 3.1 or so. Let me know what you can come up wth. I assume i have low free t becausse of high estrogen adn high SHBG

agree Unleashed should work.---your test, while a good normal off-gear level, should not make your estradiol that high--.

they say every man should make sure to get enough zinc every day--they say many are just chronically low (enough that while I am spending $30k on a reproductive endo one of her requirements is zinc every day)

do you take any cholesterol meds?

there are more and more studies linking high estrogen in men to all sorts of diseases--if even 10% are correct it is reason enough to get control over your estrogen level.

so this is not something I would learn to live with--it needs to be fixed

what kind of diseases. My free test is probably low. So how would i get control of estrogen. So what you are saying estrogen might be causing other things to go on in my body??Or what? How can i get checked out for diseases. everything else is fine. However, my stomach kills me sometimes. My gallbladder doesnt function very well. Did HIDA scan and came back bad. Might need to get that out. I get bad upper stomach pains. Could this be linked to estrogen. My blood tests all come back ok. Liver panel is great, etc........>What else should i look for or do you think estrodiol is making thigns go wrong in body. I have never injected steriods. Just used pro hormones without PCT for a while. So something.

Also my eyes get so red every time i workout or run. So weird. I get headaches, etc..Dont really feel normal although i am physically healthy. Strong, dont get tired at all. Alot of energy. etc...so who knows.

i was taking activate extreme which is a natural testoserone booster while my estrogen was probably high which made my testosterone high. Make sense. My SHBG at one point in time was 81 wihle my test was 861. I dont know. this was when i had my worst problems. PM me if you can and let me knwo what i would needd to do. I think getting estrogen down is best bet. I also had gyno on left nipple so that tells you i had high estrogen sides right there.???

BTW...this is total test i am talking about NOT free test. So i never got my free test levels
