high reps and back

i think high reps are fine, whta matters most in my opinoin is switching it up. do high reps for a while, then go to low, then moderate reps.... periodizing your training will give you the best results in my opinion.
 
do both higher and low reps.

Anything more than 12 is more endurance oriented [good for calves tho]

do a back exercise - 2 sets - first set heavy for 4-6 reps the second moderate weight for 10-12 reps.

Get the best of both worlds.
