If I go with low low carbs at under 20g a day and around 200g fat and 400g protein is this possibl to loose some fat while putting on muscle? I wieght 210-215 with unknown bodyfat but id say no more than 11-12%... semi abbs.. are these calories too high? seems it might bebut most of the fat is from olive oil and hemp oil so good fats

But anyway Mr.X and others does this sound like i makes sense...

PS. I am doing HIT training and on a low dose of test as a "bridge" ala dogcrap from animals board

No carb diets are NOT ideal for putting on mass, and you will likely not put on any mass. If any, it's going to come from the convertion of the excessive protein intake into glucose. If you want to gain mass, you're going to have to eat carbs.

gaining mass is secondary, mainly loosing fat is important... carbs make me fat fast so I thought I could loose a little fat and possibly add some muscle on the side as part of dieting well and training... I could be wrong but just wanted to point out the main goal is fat loss... Over 5 months I just want to loose arounf 10 of fat and gain 10 muscle with a nice sized fina cycle to help in 2 of those months... Just wanted to see if this diet would help

You'll be eating about 3400cal, which is NOT ideal for bodyfat loss. Unless you're 270-280 is not going to help w/ fat-loss.

Yeah I guess the calories are to high... I's there a better area to go for... like maybee follow your CKD ratios but keep the protein higher... It wont be ketogenic but also there wont be excess carbs taken in just those converted and when on cycle alot of those will be assimilated rather than converted

I'm just throwing out ideas, I don't even pretend to know more than anyone here but I'm just trying to find out why htese wont work and how they can be fixed

You could do a no carb/mod protein/high fat for 3 days, than have a 1 day carb up than do the 3days than 1.

it's a 3/1 ckd, I've seen people bulk w/ that and it works fine.....
The only thing is that a good supply of R-ala should be handy just to keep the blood sugar down.

ALA is expensive for that purpose... would insulin on just carb up days work?

ALA is not that expensive:
a bottle of insulin (humilin R)= $27-$30
A bottle of ALA = $15-$17

I would suggest using ALA, if you're going to use insulin make sure you have all the carb properties down.

Mr.X

True but from my experience with ALA I would only use R-ala. I am going to look at your TKD and see how feasible that is for me in my current situatio where two meals a day come from unmeasurable food in a college buffet... I've never done cardio and never dieted yet I stll have some abbs and an estimated 11% BF or maybee less so I was hoping I could cut down to around 7% while gaining a couple pounds lean, nothing to specactular with dedication... Hell time is all you got when you live in a dorm and don't drink to pursue goals like these
