AST 52
ALT 119
ALK/PHOS 150.

Just how high is that after a cycle of Deca/ Test, 400MG ea / week. How long do they take to go down. Any cause for concern?

Thx,

TP

Get a full panel done. Alt and AST can be elevated from high protein diets and if you trained heavily in the previous days. You have nothing to worry about.

Did you get a baseline done?m The AST is not really elevated and the ALT is only about 2 times upper limit of normal. This could be caused by high protein diet and intense exercise, but I would do another follow up panel in about 2-4 weeks to see how htings look. If you have any consitutional symptoms in the meantime like fever, malaise, jaundice, upper right quadrant abdominl pain, black stool, etc call your doc.

i had hepatitis A once where your liver enzymes are thru the roof. what a nasty disease. you feel SO sick.

look for light stools, dark urine, and jaundice. high liver enzymes es are a serious thing. you only have one liver.

I didn't ask about a baseline, I just asked how high they were so that I could do some research. I have an appointment to follow up with him in 8 weeks. Don't have any of the symptoms you listed, except that I am still getting night sweats.

Thx

You must always include GGT levels when testing for liver function. GGT is specific for liver function. If it is normal, then your liver is stressed but not diseased. This is why I like eight-week cycles. The body can only take so much stress from the meds, the workout (overtraining in many cases), and diet.

Good advice. This was a 12 week cycle, and I forgot to add that I did a week of winny to finish off. Apparently that's quite toxic to the liver?

Yep and if you took any anti-e's this can elevate this as well... I would not even sweat it.

so how long should one not train before getting a liver panel so as to get a good baseline?...one day?three days?
