hi i am kind of new here so i didnt where to ask for help but ill hope any one person replies me,

i want to lower my fat levels but my question is how much weight should i lift?
i read somewhere that u should lift weight with which u can do 12 reps at first set , and the then 10 and 8 on the coming sets..

But there are some people that tell me lift as heavy as possible that u barely complete 5-6 reps on all the three sets...

i had tried the heavy routing and found out that it does make workout harder but it doesnt really makes my body shape tone up and i dont feel getting bigger in the gym or you can say muscles doesnt get pump...Where as the other routine goes great but makes me wonder if that not lose gonna weight for me...

Please im in jeapordy Could anyone tell me what should i do??
i am thinking abt running in the morning as well...thanks.

its gonna mainly be on diet :( the only thing i could see diff. reps changing would be the amount of calories burnt, but i doubt going heavy and low reps or going moderate and higher reps is gonna change the amount of calories burnt in the gym drastically, maybe its more effective at really low %bf. if you want to lose bodyfat you need to get your diet in order. so id make a post in the diet section about your current weight/age/%bf/caloric intake and a sample daily diet with all the stats about protein/carbs/calories

Yep Diet is key. Diet and cardio. those two things put together are the reason why everyone isn't walking around with a six pack. They are the same reasons why most people will never have the body they want. It's not easy, it's all about momentum. do an intense cardio session at least 3 times a week, go 4 or 5 if you can. and be STRICT with your diet. have one day a week where you eat NO carbs at all (maybe on a rest day) this way you can empty out your glycogen stores. Cheat days are not necessary but they can help you mentally. I only cheat on holidays.
