I have a couple quick quesitons regarding some growth I just got ahold of. My first question has to do with how you measure iu's on an insulin syringe? I just purchased 5 boxes of some Humatrope Somatropin from a friend and I just want to make sure im taking the stuff right. I've always been under the impression that if you have an insulin syringe with units of 10, that would be the equivalent of 1 Iu. Right now im using a .3cc 29 gauge 1/2" pin and im on three ius a day. I do 1.5 iu's in the morning and 1.5 iu's pretty much right before I go to bed (on the pin I draw to the number 15. Is that right?). This brings me to my second question. Is there a proper way to take this stuff or should i just keep shooting how im doing it. Like I said, I do 1.5 in the morning and 1.5 at night (5days on, 2 days off) and i just wanted to make sure this would promote optimal growth (unless it doesnt necessarilly matter). I've used a good amount of AS in the past and I thought it would be nice to take about a 6 month break and hit up this growth before I stack some gear with it in the future. I want to set it up as correctly as possible so any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks guys!

No I dont have the pen. My friend lost it and I would rather just use the insulin syringe instead....the humatrope cartridge is a 24mg/74 iu cartridge and the water that I used to reconstitute was in a 3ml vial...I calculated it and I think it came out to .4 ml per iu. So in order to get three ius, I would have to do 12 notches on the syringe.. The way I was doing it before I was doing about 8 ius a day (if I calculated right) which would probably explain my massive headaches and extreme diziness...does my conversion sound correct to you? Let me make this suggestion as far as when to take the gh - instead of doing your second dose at bedtime, if you can do it right after you train, you will get the added benefit of your bodys natural insulin levels being elevated. This will help further the benefits of the hgh.

which then makes 10 ius of liquid.

I then use an insulin syringe that is 3/10 of a cc so has 5, 10, 20, 30 markings on it. I wld then do to the 20 mark being under the impression this was 2 ius. Based on what you are saying, it wasnt 2 ius, and it wasnt 20 ius either. It was 4.6 ius. Which means if I was doing 2 injects a day then I was doing 9.2 ius per day. Yet the vial lasted for 4.5 injections which would mean I was doing 2 ius per day like I thought.

So maybe you can explain how you determined that 10 on the syringe is 2.3 iu.

Also iu is an old school measurement of meds. Why doesnt someone take the initiative to solve this confusion by putting the new measurements in cc?

Just make it as simple as posible
3ml = 74IU
1ml = 24.6667Iu
.5ml = 12.3333IU
.2ml = 4.93333IU
.1ml = 2.466667

Just keep deviding until you get to the smallest number needed.

well my problem is that I was instructed how to reconstitute and how much to draw in the insulin pin by an HRT clinic.

I quit doing gh 8 months ago and noticed a considerable amount of bloat lose after a couple weeks. Well if I was doing 9.2 ius a day and I was not mixing to the right strength to start with, NO WONDER I was bloated from it.

So Im still not clear on the numbers. I guess one better way to do it is to use an insulin pin to draw the bac water when reconstituting instead of using a 3 ml pin, right?

And if I use an insulin pin and have a 10 iu bottle, then I should be only going up to the 10 on the insulin pin when drawing the water?

I always use insulin pin with water based gear.
If using a 10IU bottle add 1ml of BAC water.
1ml= 10IU
.5ml = 5IU
.1ml = 1UI

Damn you were using 9IU's /day! You are lucky nothing crazy happened. How were your fingers? Did you feet grow?

ok if 1 ml = 10 IU then I was ok. I would use 1 ml of water to recon the gh. Then I would go to the 20 on the insulin pin - which IS 2 IUs because my insulin pins are 3/10 of an IU and go to 30 on the insulin pin. So that means the scale for these pins is 100=10 IU. So 20=2 IU

Man there for a minute I was thinking I better get some xrays and make sure I dont have an enlarged heart from too much gh! lol

So to the guy that started this thread - if your insulin pins are 3/10 (which I think you said they are) then you should be going to 15 on your insulin pin. 15=1.5 IUs

If you are still confused, or know anyone who needs some help converting and you dont feel like explaining it (lol) I got a really good site which really simplifies and teaches you how to convert the iu's step by step. Ive been doing really well since I learned the correct conversion formula from this site. I am not confused now. Actually I arrived at the correct conversion but didnt follow what some of the others were saying at first.
