I listen to death and black metal pretty exclusively. I enjoy some classical (i.e. Wagner et al.) and alternative as well.

I'm new to this emo stuff as well. I think it's just phase two of that geigh goth trend that totally fell on it's face in the '80's and early '90's. Kinda like how punk turned into Green Day, gothic somehow morphed into this emo crap.

Umm... yeah. The whole me = emo thing is a joke. Everyone knows that emo kids totally get beat up by metalheads on a daily basis. I don't listen to the radio, so I don't even know what these bands like Dashboard Confessional sound like.
