t spreading the word to anyone who may be interested:
MTV NEEDS PEOPLE for one of it's Spring Break shows... TODAY.
YOU COULD BE IN CANCUN, MEXICO "THIS SUNDAY" IF YOU GET PICKED.
If you WIN the show, the grand prize is... $5000
MTV and NBC's Fear Factor (you know... the show that makes you do crazy
stunts, and eat outrageous things) are teaming together to do a show at
MTV's Spring Break in Cancun, Mexico... this Sunday-Wednesday.
This is a Last Minute audition, because MTV just can't seem find people who
will do "anything"... "anything" type stunts, to be on this MTV Spring Break
Fear Factor show.
MTV is looking for crazy and outrageous guys and girls to fly down to
Cancun, Mexico as contestants on MTV's Fear Factor!
* MTV "NEEDS" to find 4 outrageous guys and 4 outrageous girls
"TODAY", March 8th to fly down to Cancun, Mexico "THIS SUNDAY", March 10th.
MTV will pay for you to fly down, put you up in a hotel, and give you
spending money.
The grand prize, if you win the show, is $5,000
* You won't have to do anything at the interview today... you just
have to come in, so MTV can meet and talk to you.
Requirements:
-You MUST be at least 21 years old and look no older than 25 years old.
-You must have valid health insurance. Please bring your health insurance
card with you today, or bring a copy of it.
If your parents have your card... call them right now and ask them
to fax it to you. If you don't have a fax machine, call information or look
in a phone book, and find a Kinko's that is near you. Call them and tell
them that you need to receive a fax there, and ask them for the FAX number.
Then once your parents fax it, go pick it up. I think Kinko's charges $1-$2
for you to receive faxes there.
-You must be available to leave this Sunday, March 10th. You won't get back
home until March 14th.
-You must have a valid passport
OR
-If you don't have a passport you need two things...
A birth certificate (with a raised state seal... *not a photo
copy... again... it can not be a photo copy... check it right now... if on
the birth certificate you can feel where they've imprinted a bumpy seal...
you've got a State Certified Birth Certificate) in addition to a birth
certificate with a raised state seal you must also have a state issued photo
ID/Drivers License. If you don't have a passport, you have to have both of
the above.
* The Government of Mexico will not let you enter their country
without both.
You don't have to bring the birth certificate with you today... but
you must really have one... you must really know where it's at, not think
you know where it's at... you must really know that it has a raised seal. If
you get picked for the show, and then Sunday comes and you're getting ready
to get on the plane, and you don't have it, or it doesn't have a raised
seal... you won't be able to get on the plane, and MTV will not have someone
for this show... that they thought would be great.
-You must be between 5'2" and 6'0" tall.
-You can not audition for this show if you are under an exclusive contract
with a talent, or modeling agency.
Some agencies allow their people to do stuff on there own. They call
it freelance. If you are with an agency and you're not sure if it's
exclusive or freelance... just call them and ask. You don't have to go into
the whole reason you're asking, if your freelance, and you want to
tryout/interview, get your butt to the location.
-You must be willing to do any and all the stunts you've ever seen on NBC's
Fear Factor, and I mean anything.
I don't even know what they may ask you to do. You can't get down
there, and then decide that you can't jump off a cliff into the ocean, or
eat a cows eye, or be covered with snakes, or rats, or whatever.
* Think of every gross and outrages thing in the world... and if
you're not absolutely sure, without a doubt, that you WILL DO IT... then
don't come to this tryout/interview.

after 11:00am today Friday March 8th.
The message on the machine will give you info on where and when to show up.
* Because this is so last minute, MTV is still figuring out how to get
you in the building. As I'm sure you know security is very tight since
September 11th. Do not just show up at the 1633 MTV building without calling
Shadow at 212-654-6018
The message will tell you exactly what you have to do to get in the
building. Write everything down that it tells you to do. The security guards
at the building are not a part of MTV. They will not care about you getting
to an tryout/interview. They are there to keep everyone safe... so please do
not make them mad. They're just doing their job.
The tryout/interview will take place TODAY between 1 PM - 5 PM at:
1633 Broadway
32nd FLOOR
New York City
The Paramount Plaza Building
(the building is on Broadway between 50th Street and 51st Street)
* MTV is going to talk to as many people as they can today, because
they have to find people to send to Cancun, Mexico THIS SUNDAY !!!
However today's interviews are on a first come, first served basis. MTV
can't have any interviews going on past the time they said they were going
to stop.
* But don't let that hold ya back, because all I think they're going
to have you do is fill out an application, and have you talk to one of MTV's
Casting Directors. More than likely... it's only going to take them about 2
minutes to figure out if you'd be good for the show or not.
Short... simple... and sweet. (of course you might be here longer than that
if there are a lot of people ahead of you, who got here first.)
You must call for exact details... DO NOT JUST SHOW UP WITHOUT CALLING
SHADOW (212-654-6018) AND LISTENING TO THE INSTRUCTIONS YOU MUST FOLLOW.
* PRINT THIS EMAIL and BRING IT WITH YOU, JUST IN CASE MTV CAN ARRANGE
FOR THIS EMAIL TO BE THE THING YOU SHOW TO GET IN THE BUILDING.
But like I a said ... you must call today, after 11am to find out for

* When you get in the interview, act really crazy fun, talkative, and
DON'T dress crappy. If you have a body... by all means... show it off with
what you wear... but you DON'T have to have a great body or look like a
model to be on this show. MTV just wants the best, most fun, willing to do
anything people.
