Sounds TOO good to be true - regularly $2700 for $400. Unless it was a damaged shipment buy.....

I bought 5.

We'll see in a week or two. Maybe months. If I am lucky.

Wow. You really bought 5 ? Not too smart man - the guy has 0 feedback and isn't a registered user....that didn't concern you?

"not a registered user." What does this mean?
A registered user's status may change if they ask to cancel their membership or if they're suspended from trading on eBay. If this occurs, there will be no changes to your feedback rating or to the comments left by that user when they were registered.

Even if the seller had a feedback of 10,000, do you know how easy it is to hijack a sellers account. My only advice is to keep transactions under $500 and use Paypal.

I would not buy something that costly from someone w/no feedback.

even using paypal doesn't guarantee much.

i would use a legit escrow considering he isn't registered and has no history. check ebay's page on how to "protect yourself". amazing how many buyers never take the time to read it. Lotsa great tips.

You're right, paypal only covers up to $200. Whereas www.escrow.com covers $500 and over. But what ever you do, don't send M.O or checks, it's a scammers wet dream.

I bought a Sun Ultra 5 on ebay for $1200 a few years ago, but I picked that bitch up in person.
