Herpes: Girl thinks i gave it to her, I've shown no signs, help

hey all. so okay, ive been with 3 girls in my life, im 23 y/o. first one was my gf for 3 years, second was a girl who had been with 2 guys, and the last who knows. The last girl though claims that she thinks i gave her the herp. she tested positive for it apparently. im so freaked out, the thing is ive never had any outbreaks that ive ever seen. i usually shave down there too, i mean ive had razor bumps, but after the first 2 days they are always all gone. do you nesecerily break out if you have the herp? if what she is saying is true, i figure i would have to have had it for at least a year already.

There are estimates that 1/4 of the female adult population has HSV-2 (genital herpes) compared with 1/8 of the adult male population. It's easier for the virus to be transmitted to females.

The number of people with HSV-1 (oral herpes) is much greater. A fever blister or cold sore is HSV-1. Almost everyone has it or will get it at some point in their life. So far I have been lucky.....

It's a really common thing. You might not want to hear this, but the majority of people with genital herpes don't display any symptoms at all. I'm not quite positive about this but I believe it's something like 60% of the people with genital herpes don't know they have it. That's why it gets spread so much.

Just because you aren't showing any signs doesn't mean that you aren't shedding the virus. In other words, just because there are no visible sores or lesions, you can still become infected or infect others.

It's a weird virus. People have a wide range of sympoms. Some people have really bad sores while others may have an itch or slight tingling sensation.

If you really want to know I would get tested.

Honestly bro, based on what you have said I don't think you have it. You seem to know your past partner's history. If they would of had it you would of probably figured it out after being with them so long. That being said, you never know because most people don't show symptoms.

yeah you can be a carrier and not have an outbreak and silently pass it on.. u might get one eventually. LOL that you posted in in this forum.. most people hide stuff like this you wanna tell everyone

he thinks he knows their past, he also thinks he was never cheated on.
All it takes is one of the girls that go out fuck one guy with out a rubber or even with and still get genital herpes.

Best to be test like mentioned to find out. For all you know you might have
Genital Herp or even Genital warts ( yes some people carry the virus for genital warts pass it on and never see a wart or outbreak on themselves)
