Hello all,
Six weeks ago I was diagnosed with an umbilical hernia as well as a ventral hernia in my abdomen. I have a knot that pops through onto my abs when it is showing and the umbilical is barely visible. I'm 31yo and have been lifting for the last 12yrs with a few setbacks here and there. They are looking to repair it either robotically or laproscopically. My biggest concern is healing and ever getting back to 100%. I don't want to be limited in the weight room. I'm curious as to if anyone else has had these issues and what was your recovery like? Have you had any issues going back to your normal/heavy routines? Any info is greatly appreciated. This has hit me rather hard. Thanks
