I see in you later post you're getting some good strength gains already. Its funny how guys tend to look for sides (i.e. nose bleeds or bloat) to verify gear is working. In that case I hope my gear never works! But we all do it sometimes, we just want to be sure we have the right stuff and are taking enough. Your dose is fine, if not on the high side for a first timer. Stay there and watch the gains come, now that you've seen some they will be coming fast.

Your absolutely right. I just assumed if something did'nt hurt or feel uncomfortable it was not working, but 20 lbs diff on squat not bad in one week. I actually think I could of done more, but did'nt want to hurt myself. I kind of gave a little shit to my source, but then emailed back to say my bad.
 
I am glad this thread is getting some responses...

I sure hope that I am one of those lucky guys that get good results on low dosages, but when I say I feel a constant pump, it is just that...like I just finished a good workout. I don't feel like my clothes are going to tear off me and I am about to turn green :-)

I have gained a total of 4lbs in 10 days - this with hardly dosing at all...Regarding strength, I am in the 15's of HST, which is more about muscle burn than strength, but I have been feeling strong enough to add 2nd sets to the big compound moves.

And one final thing, I don't blame anyone for asking, but I am not a source nor will I disclose my local guy to anyone.

Update 3/14:

Still progressing - today is the 1st day for 20mg, no intestinal distress, good strength while working out, big pumps in the arms and chest. I am in the last two HST workouts of the 15's, and I am splitting them up, doubling volume to go every day for four days. Multiple sets of 15's make for vicious burn, and after the 3rd set of squats @ 15 reps, I think I felt the infamous "lowe back pump." Since I always have a tight/sore lower back, it didn't bother me too much...

I am looking forward to the 10's, and may switch to 5x5 when the 5's come to take advantage of the strength.

Weight stayed stationary at 5.5lb gain, but I ran a 5 mile race yesterday (The Run to Remember in Boston - it sucked - slush and potholes and 8,000 runners - it was NOT a run to remember, but the wife was running the 1/2 marathon, and I promised to run months ago.)

I do notice that I am more vascular and harder - I know this is contra-indicated for Dbol with the water retention, but I don't know what to tell you. Veins and striations are more pronouced, and my abs are still there.

No other sides to speak of, although I did wake up with a couple of zits on the side of my face, but it was the side that I slept on...time to change the pillowcase.

I was hoping for a more stimulated appetite - not happening. After two weeks of 3500-4000 calories, taking 3 shits a day is starting to tire me out - it seems like there are not enough hours in the day to eat.

I will stay updated.

3/15:

Another update - got on the scale last night, up another 1.5 lbs to a total of 170. Now I know the Dbol is working, becuase I didn't eat aswell as I could have the past two days...I was just hoping to have maintained gains so far, and instead I added even more!

When you see increases in weight like this without additional fat, it really inspires you to train hard, eat right and get proper rest - this is the time to work hard to make the best of it, and that is what I plan to do.

Did pulls last night (lat pulldowns, deads, SLDL, incline DB curls) and I tell you, when people talk about back pumps, they ain't kidding, especially with these moves. It was about 3x worse than it was the day before...

Now that I am up to 20mg/day, I expect it to get even worse. Oh well...all other sides ok.

I am fully hoping to peak at 180 then fall back to 175 or so...or at least that is my goal. Anything more than that will be cake.

3/16: Up another 1.5 lbs to 171.5...This stuff is no joke. I feel like a house. I am starting to realize the possible issue of psychological effects of coming off and shrinking.

I will try to put up a couple of pics on this thread to show progress if I can figure out how to do it.

Just to reference, I am using BD (British Dispensary, not British Dragon) 5mg pinkies...They are so small I still can't beleive they do anything.

I have gained 8 lbs in 16 days, and I have only been up to 20mg/day for the past 4 days! No fat gain around the waist where I usually get it - my pants are still as loose as they were after my cutter brough me to my 163.5 starting point...I see no signs of bloat whatsoever. I thought the people who use Dbol to cut were nuts, but I am starting to see why some use it for that reason. I am either dropping BF or at least keeping it in check as the weight goes up.

Pumps are out of control - I am now up to my last workout of the 15's, and I am going to do 1 set plus a drop for each exersize. I have been going 4 days on, 1 off, splitting the full body hst workout in 1/2 for more intensity. The thought of the muscle burn during the drops is already making my body hurt.

Sides - the lousy sleep is back again. I think I got about 6.5 hours last night, and they weren't restful hours. (back to ZMA and/or melatonin) Not sure if this is the Dbol or the billion calories I am eating or a combination of both. I also have a couple of zits on my face, and a small one on my stomach, but nothing out of the ordinary.

Just to rehash my supplement list, daily I take:

1000mg Milk Thisle
250mg Saw Palmetto
1.6ml Hawthorn Berry Extract
Equate mature multi (I am not 65, it is just the mature has more nutrients)
B-complex

Onward and upward. Is anyone reading this?

Every post. How is the strength improving?

I sometimes use L-Arginine and L-Ornithine to help me sleep. I prefer it to ZMA.
 
Interesting that you're actually getting results. Is your strength going up significantly as well, or only your weight?

I'm not a huuuge fan of d-bol... it only makes me put on a couple of pounds of waterweight, even after 2 weeks @ 30mg a day.

What's your previous workout history like? How long have you been working out / any cycles before / and what are some of your lifts like? I can see d-bol helping first-timers or anyone without a developed base, but then again, some pro's apparently use it, and they have a pretty damn good base already... :rolleyes:
 
I've been reading every post. I'm on similiar cycle, but not getting as good results as you. I need to eat more and I am getting extra around gut. Sounds like your doing great. Keep it up.

1st of all, thanks for reading this - it is helpful to me to break down progress and to think that my experience might be useful to someone else.

As far as strength, it is hard to tell during 15 rep HST. I can say that muscle endurance has NOT gone up. Muscles fry with lactic acid past about 12 reps. Especially shoulders. Once I get deeper into the 10's and the 5's I will be able to comment better on the strength.

My previous workout history? Since I am 37 and have been working out since I picked up my brother's weights when I was 12, I have done just about everything...most recently (last couple of years) I have been alternating between 5x5 and HST. I feel the structure of these programs alone goes a long way for me to focus on the program goals instead of aimlessly just deciding to go do chest and back, or arms and shoulders...

I have been an athelete all my life, used to box, and currently am an amatuer baseball player. I fought at 160 (almost 20 years ago), maxed out at about 179 last summer (but with a too big 34 1/2 waist) and this is my 1st cycle. I just came off a cutter before the start of this cycle.

My lifts? I don't do much for 1rm - recently I was benching 275 x 3, Squat about the same (I know, I know.)

If I can get pictures to work, you will see that I have a solid base. I think that answers all the questions. :-)

Hang in there Pudding - I know you and I did a lot of research leading up to our cycles - I hope yours works out for you in the end. Eating is brutal. Eggs, flax shake, oatmeal, whey shake, 3/4lb of chili, bannana, N-Large, chicken/sweet potato/broccoli dinner, whey shake, almonds, ANPB on crackers...not enough friggin' hours in the day to choke it all down.
