Help with teenager gyno

Specialbear

New member
Hey all, i beleive i have gyno. and im going to the Dr. to complain about 'chest pain'. Now, i dont know exactly what to tell my parents, since they dont understand such things AT ALL, or what to tell the doctor to get it covered, what steps i should take etc.

As a child, my parents were worried about my breasts and took me to see specialists who said i ate too much chicken. Bottom line was that i was a fatass.

Now at 12-13 bf, they are muscular, but i have fat over them and puffy nipples.

HELP!!

Hi Specialbear,

I don't know what AT is....are you juicing as a teen? I hope not.

Anyway, I just took my 15 year old son too the local "breast doc", he will be having gyno surgery this summer. The Dr. said a lot of his patients are personal trainers, interesting.

My son just told me he was bothered by his "man boobs" and I told him it could be fixed. He was very happy with the pre op appt. and looking forward to the surgery this summer. The Dr. said it involved very little pain. It will take 2 weeks of "no exercise" to recover. The cost will be $5000. I should mention this Dr. has a very good reputation and people travel to have him do their surgery.

I'm not sure how old you are but I think your parents might understand more than you think....especially since you said they took you to a Dr. for this condition as a child....which makes it more likely that your insurance will cover it.... Good luck, and let me know how it goes.

i saw my doc about it when i just hit puberty.. fuckin puffy nipples bugged me and made me embarrassed.. he said "just puberty it will go away"... when i started working out (17 y/o) and got lean they got more noticable so i was really bothered.. i was nice and lean with a good build but no way would i take off my shirt... went and saw the doc again.. i had also read about "gyno" in mags at the gym so i thought, "hmmm.. i could get this taken care of.. hmmm..." ... so i went and complained to my doc and i said they itched a bit too.. he sent me to a plastic surgeon and i got the surgery, i never had to pay shit, i am in canada tho.

good luck man, and as for your parents, just explain to them what it is, how it makes you self concious, and that you can get it remidied - i'm sure they will be supportive.
