So I've been doing legs 2 days a week for the last couple of months,
1 heavy day and one light day, and have seen some great
developement and want to try it on my arms now. I did not have an
arms only day and worked bi's on back day and tri's on chest day.
Critique my new split
Mon
off
Tues
Arms, abs
weds
off
thurs
chest, tris, lower back
fri
legs, abs
sat
back, bi's, lower back
sun
off (occasional cardio/aux day)
I have classes on Mon and wed night.
On back and chest day I train the larger muscles first and like to
push my self hard. By the time I get to the bi's and tri's my arms
are pretty worked and I can't push them as much as I'd like. I am
going to use arm day as the heavy training day for arms and chest
and back day as light training for the tri's and bi's. Or do guys think
that the back and chest exercises are enough to stimulate the bi's and
tri's with out needing to directly work them on those days.
I want to keep atleast one day in between arm, chest and back day
so that my arms are not exhausted and do not over train them.
I need help with where to place shoulders. Previously I did shoulders
on friday with a light leg day (heavy leg day was on monday), but now,
I am not sure where they should fall. Should I do them with arms, or legs?
I would prefer to keep sunday an optional day but will change that if it is required for my split to work.
