Hi everyone,

Exercise wise im pretty sure im on the right track. I do take and ephedrine/caffeine/aspirin stack and alot of vitimins - iron, calcium.. but my diet seems to be a great big wall in my quest to get fit.

Below is my weekly exercise work out'

Shoulders Side Raises
Bicepts Curl Machine
Tricepts Cable pull-down

DAY TWO, DAY FIVE

Quads Hamstrings
Extensions Seated hamstrings

I Do 3 sets of each exercise and do 45 minutes of cardio daily, whether i do weights or not

I really need help with my diet. It has to be easy. as I have trouble following difficult food process and tend to grab the same bad foods all the time.

I'm not sure about ym fat % but i am 5'6, 130lbs medium fram and a swimmers build.

Any help is appreciated! Tracey

Thats the problem i don't even know where to begin.. if i try and eat healthly on my own i go into starvation mode..

And chocolate is the enemy.. but i also have goals.. which are to get into better shape and i know diet is key...

Can you list a typical day's menu? Or even just write down what you ate today. It's hard to talk about how you eat and better ways to eat with generalities. Give us a starting point & we can give you some modifications & guidelines. Personally I need to have a diet worked out & written down before I can stick to anything. This provided a framework so I knew when I was going to eat (after a while my body adjusted to the eating schedule -every 2-3 hrs and would get hungry at the expected time) and also what I was going to eat. When I'm at work all day and sometimes later than expected, I HAVE to have my food with me. I also can't expect that I'll be able to get away from my desk to go hit a restaurant for lunch. So I pack 3 meals and carry it with me in a soft-side cooler. It takes a few days to figure out not only what the diet will consist of, but also to figure out how to prepare it for travel & convenience with the resources I might expect to have wherever I'm going (e.g. a refrigerator or microwave at work). And also schedule in a cheat meal so you have room in your week for a junk-out moment to accommodate the chocolate monster instead of obsessign about it all day, then hitting Costco for a box of m&m bags and eating them all at once and hating yourself after its all over.

Write down what you ate today and we'll go from there!

Breakfast:
500ml milk 2%
Cheese sandwich

Lunch:
Chocolate bar

Dinner:
Rice, some type of meat and some veggies

Snacks: Brownies and cookies.. BAD

I am 5'6 130lbs. I have been going hard at the gym for the last month.. not really missing a single day... There are a few days i only do cardio but i can already see a big difference.. I just know my diet is holding me way back

Ummm, YEAH. Excuse my bluntness, but your diet sucks ass. Eating fast food is an IMPROVEMENT over what you currently eat, lol. At least then, you get more carbs and protein. :)

But hey, we all start somewhere, and you know it is a problem. Baby steps.... :)

Check out the Stickies at the top of this board, specifically the one about Clan and Physique Enhancement. They discuss drugs, but have a lot of good diet info in it. Also, I bumped my old thread called "What A Clean Diet Does...." - that has a ton of diet info in it too.

Using that info, you should be about to come up with a "rough draft" of a diet that works for you. Post this draft, along with times (when eat, when workout, when wake up/go to bed) and we can edit it from there. :)
