Help with Gyno

Hi I'm new to these forums, sorry if this is posted in the wrong section.

Anyway I am a 17 year old male, currently living in Toronto, and I have a bad case of gyno. I just wanted some help trying to get my health insurance to cover a surgery. I was wondering, who would I go to consult about my problem, a walk-in clinic? family doctor? And what I should say/do to get this surgery covered. I have never used any steroids or PH's, so the gyno is due to puberty.

Advice would be greatly appreciated.

Go to your Primary Care Physician. Tell him it is so sensitive when anything touches it that it causes you pain. You can't lay on your stomach, can't put anything on your chest, etc. It has to interfere with everyday activities, like it hurts when you put on your seatbelt, etc. Your PC doc will refer you to a specialist (general surgeon most likely). Try to do a little research and find someone who has done these surgeries before, and hasn't left their patients too butchered. :) Insurance probably won't cover a plastic surgeon though. Shit you're in Canada though. Not really sure how your gov't run, socialcare system works there. I'm pretty sure you'll be waiting at least 6 months for that surgery though. Yay socialized healthcare!

dont mind the rude assholes, talk to your insurance company to see what hospitals are in your health care provider plan and go with the best one, im sure you will be fine, i dont know much about gyno but i feel for you kid, maybe chest exercises will help you since you haven't abused steroids.
